REMOVAL OF FAUCET:
CARE OF FAUCET:
Always turn the water supply off before removing the existing faucet or
disassembling a valve. Open valve handle to relieve water pressure and
to ensure that the water has been successfully turned off.
The use of warm water and a soft cloth is all that is required to clean
Rubinet products. The patina of our living finishes (Oil Rubbed Bronze &
Tuscan Brass) will change as a result of normal use. Applying Mineral Oil
on occasion will create a softer look, subtle color changes and character.

Remove the Mounting Jig as shown.

Install the Driver Sleeve by engaging the
spline on the valve and screwing the Driver
Sleeve clockwise onto the Valve. Tighten the
Set Screw with the Allen Key (supplied) to
ensure a secure fit.

Turn the water supply on using the Stop
Valves either side of the Pressure Balance
Valve.

If using a Cross Handle, install the
Indicator Plate as shown then screw
on the Flange untill it contacts the
Indicator Plate. Make sure the valve is
turned off, position the Handle as
required and secure by tightening the
Set Screw with the Allen Key
provided.
When using a Lever Handle the
Indicator Plate is not required. Make
sure the valve is turned off and
position the Lever Handle as required
to indicate the ‘OFF’ position and
secure using the Allen Key provided.

LIMIT STOP
Using the Valve Handle, turn the valve
on untill the desired water temperature
is discharging. Remove the Handle
and place the Limit Stop on the multipoint spline so that the stop is against
the Split Pin mounted in the Driver
Sleeve. Use the “C” Clip
(see fig. 4) to secure the Limit Stop.
Replace the Valve Handle to turn off
the water.

Slide the Cover Plate over the Driver
Sleeve all the way back to the finished
wall.

Install the Stopper Plate over the Driver
Sleeve and secure by tightening the
Set Screw with the Allen Key provided.

Apply Thread Seal Tape to the threads
at both ends of the Shower Arm.
Assemble the Flange onto the Arm
and screw the Shower Arm into the
elbow inside the wall untill it is tight
and the Shower Head end is pointing
down. Press the Flange snugly
against the finished wall and secure
by tightening the Set Screw.
Make sure the 1/2" Washer is in the
Shower Head before screwing it onto
the Shower Arm. Use an adjustable
wrench to tighten the Shower Head
but do not over tighten.
