The Festive Processional “Christ The Lord Is Risen Today” C. Wesley, L. Davidica
(Cross Bearer, Bible Bearer, Candle Bearers, Dancers, Choir, Diaconate, Ministerium, Mothers, Presbytery, Pastors, Bishop)
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia! Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia! Raise your joys
and triumphs high, Alleluia! Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Love's redeeming work is done, Alleluia! Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia! Death in vain
forbids him rise, Alleluia! Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia! Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia! Once he died
our souls to save, Alleluia! Where's thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia! Following our exalted Head, Alleluia! Made like him,
like him we rise, Alleluia! Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!
Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia! Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia! Thee we greet
triumphant now, Alleluia! Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!
King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia! Everlasting life is this, Alleluia! Thee to know, thy power to
prove, Alleluia! Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!
Praise, Worship and Liturgical Dance

“Jesus Is Alive”
Hallelujah, Jesus is alive! Death has lost its victory and the grave has been denied. Jesus lives
forever. He’s Alive! He’s Alive! He’s the Alpha and Omega the First and Last is He. The curse of sin
is broken and we have perfect liberty. The Lamb of God is Risen. He’s Alive! He’s Alive! Hallelujah
Jesus is Alive!
“He Got Up”
Death where is thy sting, Sting where is thy grave, Grave where is thy victory, He got up! God raised
Him up! He got up! With all power in His hands
The Prayer of Thanksgiving and Invocation Reverend Mother Iona Jenkins
The Easter Hymn & Missions Offering “Christ Arose”
Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior, waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He
arose; with a mighty triumph o'er his foes; He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever,
with his saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus my Savior, vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He
arose; with a mighty triumph o'er his foes; He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever,
with his saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

The Scripture Lessons
The Psalm …............................................................................................................................................ Psalm 118:14-24
The Gospel Prelude “Because He Lives”
The Gospel (Please Stand) ……..……………………………………….……………………..……..….… Luke 24:1-12
The Gospel Response “Hallelujah Chorus”
The Confession of Our Faith “The Nicene Creed”
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe
in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true
God from true God, begotten not made, of one Being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and
for our salvation, He came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit He became incarnate from the Virgin
Mary, and was made man. For our sake, He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On
the third day, He arose again in accordance with the scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand
of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His Kingdom will have no end. We
believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and
the Son, He is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy universal and
apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

The Ministry of Giving Offerings
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in My house and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for
you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10
The Sermonic Selection
The Resurrection Message The Reverend Amir Ballard
The Call To Salvation and Discipleship
The Prayer of Benediction and Apostolic Blessing (Please remain in the sanctuary until the cross has passed.)
The After Offering
Postlude “Tocatta Gloria” C. M. Widor
(For those who did not have the opportunity to worship through returning tithes and giving offerings, baskets are being held at this time)
(All services are subject to change by order of the Holy Spirit.)
The tithe is a biblical principle, calling for us to bring 10% of our increase to the storehouse.
The tithe is an expression of our obedience to God.
The offering is your generous giving above and beyond the tithe, the offering is an
expression of our faith in God. Your obedience and faith make a difference at Cathedral
International!
No Sunday School TODAY, we will resume Sunday, April 10th !
