starting an EP program. Its innovative capabilities and
functionality deliver ease of use, excellent signal quality and

In CardioLab XTi, integration takes a quantum leap forward to
information synchronization. For the first time ever, images,
waveforms and data are truly synchronized – brought together
in real-time – to put the information you need at your fingertips
when you need it. CardioICE™, GE’s newest innovation in EP
recording, synchronizes X-ray, cardiovascular ultrasound and
EP signals and data to help you perform the most complex
image-guided electrophysiology procedures with confidence.

CardioICE™ Synchronized Ultrasound

CardioICE synchronized ultrasound combines the recording
algorithms and workflow applications of the innovative
CardioLab systems with the compact and powerful GE
Vivid™ i/q fully functional Cardiovascular Ultrasound system.
Combining the Centricity CA1000 Workstation with the
CardioLab in a single system gives you excellent access
to information and images drawn from anywhere.
CardioICE reproduces the display of the Vivid i/q in a window
on the CardioLab XTi to provide continuous, real-time
visualization of structures and devices, synchronized with
electrogram waveforms. CardioICE fuses X-ray, cardiovascular
ultrasound and EP signals to help physicians perform advanced
electrophysiology procedures with greater confidence.
CardioLab XTi provides integrated access to previously
disconnected information and visualization tools, combining
EP recording with real-time intracardiac
echo in a single system.
A new remote control keyboard allows
certain Vivid i/q ultrasound system
image parameters to be adjusted by
the clinician in the control room, taking
the technician out of the radiation field.
This helps improve staff efficiency and
comfort by allowing the operation of
both the recording and ultrasound
systems from the control room,
away from the X-ray system and the
associated requirement for heavy
protective lead garments.
Using the integrated DICOM® Viewer, display images from
previously acquired studies (MR, CT and X-ray) on the boom
monitor to facilitate image-guided procedures. Integrate image
stills and clips into your final Word® report. And combine all
images with the rest of the procedural data in one case log.
