To further expand the scope of her visit, she also presented lectures at the Orthodontics Department at the Chiang Mai University Faculty of Dentistry in northern Thailand and the Orthodontics Department of Prince of Songkla University in southern Thailand. Dr. Pongsri graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University in 1970 and worked in the Orthodontics Department of 03 Activities and Events Using her experience from the Institute of Orthodontics, University of Bergen, Dr. Pongsri lectured on many diverse topics including the dento-alveolar system, tissue reaction, orthodontic forces, treatment and lab techniques and practices. Yearly it welcomes large numbers of foreign students and researchers. 62 63 To further expand the scope of her visit, she also presented lectures at the Orthodontics Department at the Chiang Mai University Faculty of Dentistry in northern Thailand and the Orthodontics Department of Prince of Songkla University in southern Thailand. Bergen, a city of over 240,000 inhabitants, is situated on the mountainous western coast of Norway and is noted for being the gateway to the spectacular fjords, a major tourist attraction of Norway. The city has close connections to composer Edvard Grieg and the theater, where Henrik Ibsen once directed, lies in the heart of the city.
