using this one clever machine!
Before using your Retro Diner 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker
please read this user guide carefully, and
retain for future reference.

3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker Features
Before using your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker for the first time make sure that it
is thoroughly clean and dry. Please follow the cleaning instructions on page 6
of this user guide.

Before Using Your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker
Before using your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker for the first time make sure that
you:
•
Remove the 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker from its packaging.
•
Completely unwind the mains cable.
•
Clean the baking plates with a soft, damp cloth and then
thoroughly dry.
•
Always coat the baking plates with a little oil before every use.
•
Place the 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker on a dry, level heat-resistant
surface away from any other appliances or objects.

Operating Your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker
1. Make sure that your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker is clean and dry.
2. Position your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker on a flat surface or table close to
a plug socket.
3. Insert your chosen pair of baking plates by lining them up and clicking
them into place. Always make sure that you do this whilst the machine is
cool and unplugged from the mains plug socket.
4. Plug the power lead into a suitable plug socket.
5. Close your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker and pre-heat it for a few minutes.
The green and red light will be illuminated to show that the machine is
pre-heating, when the green Indicator light switches off, the machine is
hot enough to use.
6. Once ready to use make sure that each cavity of your chosen baking
plates has been coated with an oil spray.
7. REMEMBER that the baking plates are very hot; do not touch these with
your hands.
8. Add a little of your chosen batter or mixture to each cavity on the
bottom baking plate.
9. Do not overfill each cavity; remember that your mixture will expand with
cooking.
10. Carefully close the lid, clip shut the lid latch and allow the Sweet Snacks
to bake for at least 3 minutes before checking them.
11. Steam will come out of the machine as your food cooks, this is normal.
12. During cooking, the temperature regulating thermostat maintains an
even temperature. You may therefore notice the indicator light flickering.
13. After 3 minutes you can open the machine to see how your sweet
snacks are cooking. You can test to see if your sweet snacks are ready
by inserting a toothpick into the middle of one; if it comes out clean, they
are ready. If not, simply close the lid and let your sweet snacks cook for a
further 1 - 3 minutes.
14. Once your Sweet Snacks are ready switch off the machine and leave to
cool for a few minutes before removing with a wooden, silicone or plastic
utensil.

Cleaning Your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker
Follow these simple steps to clean and maintain your Sweet Snack Maker after
every use:
1. Turn your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker OFF and then un-plug it from the
mains.
2. Allow the machine to completely cool down.
3. Clean the top and bottom casing with a soft damp cloth and then dry
with a kitchen/paper towel.
4. Open the 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker and wipe away any excess mixture
on the baking plates with a soft damp cloth and then dry with a kitchen/
paper towel. Make sure that each cavity on the top and bottom baking
plates are thoroughly cleaned and dried.
5. Once your 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker is clean and dry it is ready to be
packed back in its box ready for the next use.
NEVER immerse the 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker in water, other liquids, or use in a
dishwasher. There is danger to life due to a risk of electric shock.
NEVER use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush or
a knife) for cleaning.

Recipe Suggestions
Chocolate Cake Pops
Ingredients:
• 170g Plain Flour
• ½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
• 80g melted chocolate
• 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
• Pinch of Salt
• 60g Butter (room temperature)
• 110g Caster Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 60ml Milk
This mixture will make 20-24 cake pops with the Cake Pop plates
Instructions:
1. Add the room temperature butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl and beat until
light and fluffy.
2. Next beat in the egg to the mixing bowl.
3. Add the salt and baking powder to the bowl and mix in.
4. Add the melted chocolate (you can melt this gently in a microwave or in a small
bowl over boiling water).
5. Gradually sift and mix in the flour and cocoa powder.
6. Add the milk and mix all of the ingredients until they come together to form a
smooth batter.
7. Make sure that your Cake Pop plates are pre-heated and that each cavity has
been coated with an oil spray.
8. Add a heaped teaspoon spoon sized amount to each cake pop cavity on the
bottom baking plate.
9. Carefully close the lid and allow the cake pops to bake for 3-4minutes.
10. You can test that the cake pops are ready by inserting a toothpick into the middle
of one; if it comes out clean they are ready.
11. Switch off the machine and leave to cool for a few minutes before removing with
a wooden or plastic utensil.
12. Decorate your cake pops as desired.

Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes:
Ingredients:
• 115g Self Raising Flour
• 100g Butter (room temperature)
• 115g Caster Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
• 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
This mixture will make approximately 12-14 Cupcakes with the Cupcake plates
Instructions:
1. Sift the flour into an adequate sized bowl.
2. Roughly break the room temperature butter into chunks, add them to the bowl,
along with the sugar, the eggs, vanilla essence and the baking powder.
3. Stir or blend the mixture well until smooth and creamy.
4. We do suggest you add some oil spray, to the Cupcake plates to eliminate the
possibility of sticking (a thin layer of butter/margarine can also be used).
5. Now using a spoon, decant the mixture into the pre-heated Cupcake cavities
leaving space for the mixture to expand.
6. Close the machine and leave for 4-5 minutes and check for browning around the
sides of the cakes. They may need to be left for a further 1-2 minutes. Once you are
happy you can switch off the machine and leave to cool for a few minutes before
removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.
7. Decorate your cakes as desired.

Classic Mini Doughnuts:
Ingredients:
• 230g Self Raising Flour
• 100g Caster Sugar
• 125g Butter (room temperature)
• 1 Egg
• 190ml Milk
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
• 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
This mixture will make approximately 18-22 Mini Doughnuts with the Doughnut plates
Instructions:
1. Sift the flour into an adequate sized bowl; add the sugar and baking powder and
mix.
2. In a separate bowl add the wet ingredients; the room temperature butter, egg,
vanilla essence and milk. Whisk together well.
3. Next carefully fold in the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and combine together
without over mixing.
4. We do suggest you add some sunflower oil spray, to the Doughnut plates to eliminate the possibility of sticking (a thin layer of butter/margarine can also be used).
5. Now using a piping bag or a spoon, decant the mixture into the pre-heated
Doughnut cavities leaving space for the mixture to expand.
6. Close the machine and leave for 3-4 minutes and check for browning around the
sides of the doughnuts. They may need to be left for a further 1-2 minutes. Once you
are happy you can switch off the machine and leave to cool for a few minutes before removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.
7. Decorate your doughnuts, or coat them in cinnamon sugar and serve immediately!

location.
