O’Carroll’s has the versatility to cater for anything from 50 - 200 guests, while The drawing room is perfect
for more intimate wedding parties catering for a maximum of 35. The hall is also licensed by the hsE for Civil

We offer very competitive all inclusive packages that can also be tailored to your own specific needs. Kinnitty
Castle hotel also caters for events both before and after the big day, from rehearsal dinners to organised
excursions. This gothic revival castle which dates back to the 13th Century, is situated close to the picture
perfect village of Kinnitty, Co Offaly. There are 37 distinctively styled bedrooms within the castle, each retaining
an original & cultivated decor in keeping with the period of the property. Plenty of additional accommodation

Deposits A deposit of €1500 is required in order to guarantee the booking. This is non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
A further €1500 is required 6 months prior to the wedding. The remaining balance must be settled in full before departure. No
Personal or Business Cheques or Gift Vouchers. (€500 deposit applies for intimate wedding package)
Cancellations In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel the wedding, the hotel will retain any deposits paid. The hotel
operates a policy whereby 30% of the booking value based on most confirmed numbers is liable to be paid when a wedding is
cancelled 6 months before the confirmed date. 50% of the booking value on most recent confirmed numbers is liable to be paid
when a wedding is cancelled 1 month before confirmed date.
Hotel Amendments or Cancellations Should the hotel, for any reason, need to change the event, it shall endeavour to offer
the client alternative arrangements and facilities. In this situation the Client can also choose to cancel the contract and be refunded
the deposit and any or all monies paid in advance. The Hotel may cancel the event in the following circumstances: (A)The Hotel
has reason to believe the booking might prejudice the reputation of the Hotel. (B)The Hotel receives evidence of any adverse
alteration in the Clients financial situation. The hotel will not be liable for failure for any contracted supplier or business supplying
goods or services to the hotel. The Hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, services, food or beverages
as a result of events or matters outside its control such as acts of God or power failure. The Hotel must be given 2 Months advance
notice of intended Fire Works Display, Fire Works must comply with Hotel guidelines and with Local by-laws, in some instances
Fire Works may have to be cancelled at short notice.
Costing / Pricing Details Upon booking your wedding reception approximate numbers must be given, with final numbers
confirmed 7 days prior. This is the number that will be charged for unless numbers increase in which event the higher number will
be charged for. Minimum numbers of 100 guests apply to all Friday & Saturday weddings, a maximum of 40 guests applies for the
Intimate wedding package, no minimum numbers are required for midweek weddings (Sunday – Thursday) excluding bank holiday
weekends and the last week in December.
General Details The hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, services, food or beverages as a result
of events or matters outside its control. The Hotel will not accept responsibility for any entertainment that has not been reserved
directly by the Hotel. However it is essential that all entertainment arrangements have the approval of Management, prior to the
date of your reception. The wedding cake, favours and any items to go on the tables cannot be left in the hotel until the day before
the wedding and we do not accept responsibility for such items. All boxes must be labelled with the relevant details. Should you
decide to bring decorative items e-g chair covers etc which you have hired out or purchased it is your responsibility to ensure that
they are delivered the day before the wedding and that they are collected upon departure. The hotel will not be held responsible
for loss or damage to these items. As a food hygiene precaution the Health Authorities advise that only foods that have been
prepared on the premises may be consumed in the Hotel. The hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to property owned by, or in
the custody of the clients or its guests. Prices valid until March 31st 2016. Minimum numbers of 100 adults apply to weddings held
on Fridays and Saturdays
Wedding Details All details for meal must be forwarded to your Wedding Co-Ordinator no later than 4 weeks prior to the
wedding. The floor plan will be forwarded to the bride and groom 1 month prior to the wedding which must be adhered to.
The banquet hall is an L shape hall with limitations to the set up therefore you cannot draw up your own table plan, the hotels plan
must be followed. The table plan to be forwarded to the Hotel no later than 7 days prior to the wedding. Should this not be done
we cannot guarantee that the table plan will be ready for display Place cards must be done by the bride and groom and a member
of the bridal party must be present the day of the wedding any time from 12.00noon onwards to place them on the table. The hotel
accepts no responsibility for this task.
Timings The sit down time for the meal to be no later than 6.00pm; ringing the bell at 5.30pm sharp All details in relation to the
banquet to be forwarded to your Wedding Co-ordinator and any queries in relation to rooms to be forwarded to the reservations
department. Both are kept very separate and must be discussed with the relevant people.
Room Allocations The wedding party must reserve a minimum of 25 rooms on the night of your wedding. In the event that
these rooms remain unnamed 4 weeks prior to the wedding, they will be released for sale to the general public.
Terms of exclusivity; if the Bride & Groom would like to avail of the Exclusivity Agreement they must personally guarantee (where
and if available) the remaining 12 rooms. In the event that these rooms are not filled on the wedding night, the balance will be
added to the master bill. (No minimum number of rooms are required to be booked for intimate wedding package)
The hotel does not accept any responsibility for wedding gifts, cards etc. which may be handed into reception by guests of the wedding party. We
strongly advise that an appointed member of the wedding party look after this and the person’s name be made known to the events team prior to
