while The Drawing Room is perfect for more intimate wedding parties catering for a maximum of 30. The Hall is licensed by
the HSE for Civil Ceremonies and we can also offer a range of areas for marriage blessings.
We offer very competitive all inclusive packages that can also be tailored to your own specific needs. Kinnitty Castle Hotel also
caters for events both before and after your special day, from rehearsal dinners and BBQ’s to organised excursions and activities.
This Gothic revival castle which dates back to the 13th Century, is situated close to the picture perfect village of Kinnitty, Co.
Offaly. There are 37 distinctively styled bedrooms within the castle, each retaining an original & cultivated décor in keeping with the
period of the property. Plenty of additional accommodation can be found in Kinnitty village, a stone’s throw away. Feel like you have

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Deposits A deposit of €2000 is required to guarantee the booking, (€750 for an Intimate Wedding). This is a non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
80% of your wedding bill must be paid 14 days prior to your wedding date. The remaining 20% must be settled in full before departure. Payment can be taken in the form of
Cash, Bank Draft, Cheque or Card (Please insure limit is agreed with the bank in advance).
Cancellations In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel the wedding, the hotel will retain any deposits paid. The hotel operates a policy whereby 50% of the booking
value based on most confirmed numbers is liable to be paid when a wedding is cancelled six months before the confirmed date. All monies received will be
non refundable if the wedding is cancelled six months prior to the confimred date.
Hotel Amendments or Cancellation In the unlikely event should the hotel, for any reason, need to change the event, it shall endeavour to offer the client alternative
arrangements and facilities. In this situation the client can also choose to cancel the contract and be refunded the deposit and any or all monies paid in advance.
The Hotel may cancel the event in the following circumstances: (A) The Hotel has reason to believe the booking might prejudice the reputation of the Hotel. (B) The Hotel
receives evidence of any adverse alteration in the client’s financial situation. The Hotel will not be liable for failure for any contracted supplier or business supplying goods or
services to the Hotel. The Hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, services, food or beverages as a result of events or matters outside its control such
as acts of God or power failure. The Hotel must be given 2 months advance notice of intended Fire Work Displays. Fire Works must comply with Hotel guidelines and with
local by-laws, in some instances Fire Works may have to be cancelled at short notice.
Costing/Pricing Details Upon booking your Wedding Reception approximate numbers must be given, with updates given on a regular basis and final chargeable numbers
confirmed 14 days prior. This is the number that will be charged for unless numbers increase in which event the higher number will be charged for. Minimum numbers of 100
adults guests apply to all Friday & Saturday weddings during the Hotels peak periods. No minimum numbers are required for midweek weddings (Sun - Thurs) excluding bank
holiday weekends and the last week in December. The Intimate package only applies to weddings under 30 guests. Please note that Sunday weddings will have an additional
charge of €5per person and Bank Holiday Weddings will incur an additional charge of €10per person, this is due to additional labour costs.
General Details The Hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, services, food or beverages as a result of events or matters outside its control. The
Hotel will not accept responsibility for any entertainment that has not been reserved directly by the Hotel. However it is essential that all entertainment and other general
arrangements have the approval of Management prior to the date of reception. The wedding cake, favours of any item to go on the tables cannot be left in the hotel until the
day before the wedding as we do not accept responsibility for such items. All boxes must be labelled with the relevant details. Should you decide to bring decorative items e.g.
chair covers etc, which you have hired out or purchased it is your responsibility to ensure that they are delivered the day before the wedding and that they are collected upon
departure. The hotel will not be held responsible for loss or damage to these items. As a food hygiene precaution the Health Authorities advise that only foods and beverages
that have been prepared on the premises may be consumed at the Hotel. The Hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to property owned by, or in the custody of the clients
or its guests. Prices valid until March 31st 2017.
Wedding Details All details for the meal must be forwarded to your Wedding Co-Ordinator no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding. You cannot draw up your own table
plan; the hotels plan must be followed. The table plan must be forwarded to the Hotel no later than 14 days prior to the wedding along with all other details. Should this not be
done we cannot guarantee that the table plan will be ready for display. Place cards must be done by the bride and groom and a member of the bridal party must be present on
the day of the wedding any time from 12 noon onwards to place them on the table. The Hotel accepts no responsibility for this task.
Timings The sit down time for the meal to be no later than 6pm, ringing the bell at 5:30pm or before, (we will not jeopardise the running of the event or food for any reason,
i.e. photos or late arrivals. All details in relation to the banquet to be forwarded to your Wedding Co-Ordinator and any queries in relation to rooms to be forwarded to the
reservations department. Both are kept very separate and must be disclosed to the relevant people.
Room Allocations It is a requirement that you fill 37 rooms on the night of your wedding. All hotel rooms will be automatically released for sale to the general public if not filled
by the wedding party 6 wks prior to arrival. If you require rooms not to be released automatically, please confirm this prior to the 6 week clause. Rooms still holding within this
6 week term that remain unused will be subject to full charge. If you wish to allocate names to room, we can provide a rooming list, these needs to include names of guests, type
of room and contact numbers for the guests. Rooms will not be sold to guests until confirmation is received from the Wedding Couple. We have a one week cancellation policy.
If the guest has provided credit card details the charge will be taken from this card. If the wedding couple has provided the names and there is no guarantee on this booking the
charge will be added to the master bill. Our wedding rates are based on two people sharing. In the event of a 3rd person there will be a supplement of €30.00, similarly if it is a
single room there will be a supplement of €50 added to the per person rate. Childrens rates are as follows: 0 to 3 yrs no charge, 4 to 12yrs €15 B&B, 12 to 16yrs €25 B&B
Other The Hotel does not accept responsibility for wedding gifts, cards, etc. which may be handed into reception by guests of the wedding party. We strongly advise that an
appointed member of the wedding party look after this and that the person’s name be made known to the events team prior to your wedding day. A safe can be provided in
the allocated person’s bedroom. Alcoholic Favours are not permitted. A Corkage fee applies to both bottles of wine (€25each) and prosecco and or champagne (€35each)
