Drop-in registration is accepted at the customer
care desk.
• All children must be signed in when
entering the child care room. All necessary
information, including where the adult will
be in the facility must be completed.
• LifeStyles members must show
membership ID.
• Children who appear to be suffering from a
contagious illness will not be admitted.
• Staff is not responsible for changing
diapers. Parents will be contacted to
change their child’s diapers.
• Juice cups or bottles with child’s name
are the only snack allowed in the room.

to help residents achieve quality of life through
parks and recreational services. With this
mission in mind, the Bolingbrook Park District
has established a fund to allow individuals in
need of financial assistance to participate in
Park District programs.

Ages 3 years & up
Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex, 200 S. Lindsey Ln
Swim, splash and slide at Pelican Harbor Aquatic Park. Include
invitations, all day admission during public swim hours, one hour and
15 minutes in the indoor party area with your own ice cream cake,
pizza, pop, and a souvenir back pack for the birthday child.
Lego
Ages 3-15 years
Available on weekends.
Let your child’s creativity and imagination be their own guide. They
will have full access to all Lego sets, blocks and kits and participate
in Lego themed games and group activities. Includes 15 children
with one hour of Lego instruction and one hour of celebration with
refreshments and gifts.
Spa
Ages 8 years & up
Annerino Community Center, 201 Recreation Dr
Enjoy mini-facials, foot treatments and hand and lip facials. All
participants will receive a special spa gift. Wear something
comfortable and bring a towel and washcloth.
Includes one hour of relaxing spa services and one hour of
celebration with refreshments and gifts.
Ceramics
Ages 7 years & up
We provide the ceramic piece and materials and your group supplies
the imagination, creativity, and designs. Decorate a one-of-a-kind
keepsake to take home. Includes two hours in the ceramics room
with instruction. Ceramic piece must be chosen at least two weeks
prior to the party date.
Climbing Wall
Ages 6 years & up
Celebrate your way to the top of our 23-foot rock climbing wall.
Your group will test the limits while creating a truly unique memory.
Includes two hours of private use of the climbing wall with instruction
and demonstration of climbing techniques, safety climbing
equipment, certified instructors to secure all belays and tie
knots, and one hour use of the observation deck

Gymnastics
Ages 4-9 years
Available on Saturday from 4:30-6:30 pm.
Tumble into excitement with a gymnastics birthday party at the
Bolingbrook Park District! Staff will guide your child and their friends
through our exciting obstacle course on our spring floor, play age
appropriate games and bounce to their delight on our inflatable
Air Trak. Includes one hour of gymnastics instruction in our state-ofthe art gymnastics facility, one hour in a private party area, two-16”
pizzas, two-2 liter sodas, plates, napkins, cups and stamps for
all participants.
DANCE
Parties are available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Includes
one hour of dance instruction, one hour of private party area, two-16”
pizzas, two-2 liters of pop, cups, napkins, plates, and small dance
related favor for each guest. Please bring your own birthday cake!
Ages 3-4 years
Twirl and dance into excitement with a Hip Hop Tots or Prima
Ballerina Birthday Party. Instructors will coordinate an hour of
age-appropriate ballet technique and activity in a playful and
non-competitive environment.
Ages 5-10 years
Dance, skip and boogie into excitement and celebration.
Instructors will coordinate an hour of age-appropriate dance
technique and activity. Pick your favorite area of dance to focus
your party around (ballet, jazz, hip hop, or combination). Instruction
will include warm up/stretch, floor or bar work, across the floor fun,
and choreography!
Nature & fishing
Hidden Oaks Nature Center, 419 Trout Farm Rd.
Includes one hour of staff led activities and exploration based on the
party theme, one hour of indoor space, two 16” pizzas, two 2-liters
of pop, cups, napkins and plates. Campfire and room rental options
available for add-on price.

Parkie’s Egg Hunt
Hunt for toy-filled eggs like never before - in the water! Some
eggs will contain special tickets for a bonus prize. Parents please
plan on getting in the pool with your child. Bags and baskets may
be brought to the pool, but will not be allowed in the water during
the hunt. Everyone registered for the hunt is invited to stay and
swim during public swim after the hunt is over.

The Bolingbrook Park District preschool programs, offered for children ages 2 ½ to 5 years of age, focus on educating
children in a way that makes learning fun. Experienced teachers create a warm, positive educational environment that
fosters a child’s natural creativity and curiosity. Children are engaged in a variety of developmentally appropriate
activities that are aligned with state preschool learning standards. We communicate with kindergarten program
administrators in the area to ensure that our curriculum prepares our students for success in elementary school.

Soon 2B3 Program
Children 2 ½ - 3 years old have their first positive experiences in a preschool
classroom and become comfortable separating from parents for a regular
period of time. Development of social skills, large and small motor skills, and
basic curriculum concepts are a part of your child’s day. Diapers and pullups are acceptable to begin with, but children should be on his or her way
to taking care of their own toileting needs. This class runs 2 days per week.

It’s hard to believe the time has come to
enroll your little one in preschool already.
Here at the Bolingbrook Park District, we
want you to feel comfortable with this very
important decision. Take a tour of one of our
preschool classrooms and meet teachers
and supervisory staff of the program you’re
sure to love. This informational meeting is
intended for parents only. We do offer child
care in our child care room for a minimal fee.
3 Year Old Program
This program nurtures a 3 year old’s social and emotional growth, and
provides a curriculum focusing on the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors,
and the beginning stages of writing. This class runs 2 days per week. Looking
for a 3 day per week program? You can also register for Add-a-Day.
4 Year Old Program
In this program, 4 year olds strengthen relationships with friends and
teachers and begin to understand responsibility as they become more
self-sufficient. The curriculum focuses on emerging literacy, math, science,
creative art and fine motor skills to prepare children for Kindergarten.
Pre-K Program
The Pre-K program is designed for children 4 ½ -5 years old who are ready

English/Spanish Preschool Program
Children from Spanish or English speaking homes are welcome to register
for the 3 year old or 4 year old class. The teachers, fluent in both languages,
will focus on our regular preschool curriculum while teaching the children
in Spanish and in English. This preschool class is a great option for those
children wishing to develop skills with a new language.

Parent Tiny Tots
Ages 6-17 months
If your tiny toddler is sitting, crawling or walking then they
are ready for this class! Your tiny toddler will explore the
exciting world of gymnastics through the use of our baby bar,
mini alphabet beams, tiny octagons, small hanging rings, hills
and skill blocks. Parents will assist their toddlers through various
movements under the direction of our staff helping their child
to develop their motor skills, hand, foot and eye coordination,
beginning social skills and spend energy in a fun and safe
environment. We ask that there please be one parent per toddler
and that siblings remain by the side lines as this is an age
appropriate class.

young students with a feeling of accomplishment! The gymnastics
staff provides one on one instruction with positive reinforcement to
help students reach their full potential.
Gymnastics Preschool Exhibition
Saturday, May 28
The Bolingbrook Park District will host our annual
Gymnastics Exhibition for the preschool program on Saturday,
May 28, 2016. The exhibition is a high energy venue that gives
students a chance to showcase what they have learned in
their classes and parents to capture those moments with their
own still shots, videos or action shots captured by our hired
photographer are also available. It’s a show you won’t want to
miss! A $15 non-refundable exhibition fee has been added to
the class cost for the spring session to cover show expenses,
which includes a T-shirt for each gymnast. More details about
the show will be given to students as soon as all t-shirt size
request forms are returned from the parents. This allows us to
calculate how many gymnasts will be in each hour of the show.
If the gymnast is enrolling in two spring gymnastics classes
on the same registration form, they will only have to pay one
gymnastics exhibition fee and will receive one exhibition T-shirt.
Please inform your gymnastics coach if your child is enrolled
in more than one gymnastics class. We look forward to sharing
with you!

Ages 18-36 months
Is your toddler climbing on everything they can reach and never
seem to be out of energy? This is a parent participatory class
where our instructors will guide you and your child through
introductory gymnastics skills each week using small bars, floor
beams, tiny springboards, an array of skill blocks and octagons
as well as our inflatable Air Trak. They will develop their balance,
gross motor skills, hand, foot & eye coordination, as well as increase their strength, flexibility, social skills and confidence.

Preschool Gymnastics
Ages 3-6 years
Enroll your preschooler in the exciting world of gymnastics where their energy will be transformed into tons of fun learning the beginning skills on vault, bars, beam and floor. Confidence is a major focus in our classes as we guide each child to achieve their greatest
individual potential. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. We offer a safe, fun,
clean atmosphere with complete viewing for our parents. Preschool One is for children who are new to gymnastics or have taken one
to two preschool gymnastics classes. Preschool Two classes are recommended by an instructor. Preschool Three is for our young,
extremely talented gymnasts. Gymnastics Supervisor consent required to register. Preschool Two is prerequisite to Preschool Three.
We also offer Boys only Preschool Gymnastics classes where they will master beginning skills on vault, bars, rings pommel and floor.
Please make sure that children are potty trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay during the entire class for emergency or
bathroom purposes.

This class will teach the basics of cheerleading and build confidence, strength, coordination and flexibility. Jumps, hand motions,
tumbling stunting and a cheer will be taught, as well as the importance of teamwork. We will use our spring floor and Air Trak to

Camp Alotta Fun-Summer Day Camp
Ages 6-11 years
Camp Alotta fun will provide camper with the opportunity to
participate in a wide variety of fun and exciting activities.
Campers will participate in arts and crafts, games, sports, music,
nature, swimming, archery and field trips. Campers will be placed
in groups by grade. Counselors are certified teachers or college
students working toward degrees in education or recreation.
Camp meets rain or shine. Campers should bring a sack lunch
with a drink each day. Child must be age specified to participate
in this program.
Teen Time Fun Camp “Where every day is a fun day!”
Ages 12-14 years
Why sit home this summer when you can experience all sorts of
summer fun! That’s what camp is all about. Along with special
theme days, we will swim, go on field trips, and get messy with
some great arts and crafts projects. Information packets and
camp calendars highlighting our fun days will be handed out after
receipt of registration. Child must be age specified to participate
in this program.
Camp Alotta Fun & Teen Time Camp
Sunrise/Sunset Extended Camp
Working or busy parents, this before and after camp has an
assortment of activities for your child. Different activities will
be structured depending on the number participants and their
energy level. Parents can register for Sunrise session (7:00-9:00
am) Sunset session (3:00-6:00 pm) or both. Participants must be
enrolled in the day camp program to participate in this extended
camp program.
Day Camp Forms
Upon registration you will receive a packet of forms, which will
include emergency and medical release forms. These forms must
be completed at the time of registration, prior to the first day of
camp or your child will be unable to participate in camp.
Day Camp Discipline
In order to provide a safe and effective day camp program for
your child certain rules have been established and MUST be
followed. Disciplinary action will be taken if informing parents
with phone calls and a letter of any infractions that may occur
ignore rules by their child. After two warnings, the camper will
have the choice of dismissal or abiding by the rules.

calendar with an overview of the session’s activities. Please
take time to read the calendar so your child is prepared for the

Parkie’s Harbor Heroes Summer Camp
The summer will go down in history as the first summer that kids are allowed to run Pelican Harbor! Harbor Heroes Camp is going
to start this summer with a 9 week program. Kids ages 8-13 that have wondered what it’s like to work at Pelican Harbor will have
the time of their lives getting the behind the scenes training of a lifeguard, instruction on swimming and the fun of a summer camp.
Campers will go on new aquatic adventures every Friday. This camp is a safe option for kids to spend their days at the water park,
and learn valuable lifesaving skills. Lunch for each day of camp, and a refillable water bottle will need to be provided for campers.
Campers are also required to bring a backpack, containing a towel, appropriate swimwear, and sun screen.

Just Stretching
Ages 12 years and up
Stretch and become limber as your body develops the tools that it needs
to become a stronger you. Our “Just Stretching” class is a great way to
correctly learn how to train your body to become pliable safely. Learn
to relax, breath correctly, and enjoy your time in class. In this one hour
of active stretching you will burn between 240 -356 calories. You will go
through a series of floor and dance barre stretches to assist you in reaching any goals you may have.

Developmental Gymnastics
Ages 6-13 years
All children will learn skills on the traditional Olympic gymnastics events
including: vault, uneven/even parallel bars, beam and floor in a safe and
controlled atmosphere. Children will also spend a small portion of class time
conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their
gymnastics. Children who have never taken gymnastics class before should
enroll in a Developmental One gymnastics class. Students who have taken
gymnastics at the Park District should enroll in the class level as instructed by
their coach. Children may be asked to transfer to the appropriate class level.
Private and Semi Private
Gymnastics Lessons
Private and Semi-private gymnastics/tumbling lessons are available for
students currently enrolled in classes but looking for additional one on
one instruction. Private lessons are especially effective when a student is
trying to master a new skill or just needs some one-on-one help. Private
lessons are for ½ hour, 45 minutes or 1 hour, and must be pre-arranged.

Developmental Exhibition

Bolingbrook Park District will host our annual
Gymnastics Exhibition for the developmental
program All participants of the Spring
Session gymnastics classes are invited to
participate in the performance. The exhibition
is a high energy venue that gives students a
chance to showcase what they have learned
in their classes and parents to capture
those moments with their own still shots,
videos or action shots captured by our hired
photographer are also available.
It’s a show you won’t want to miss! A $15
non-refundable exhibition fee has been
added to the class cost to cover show
expenses, including a T-shirt for each
gymnast. More details about the show will
be given to students as soon as all t-shirt
size request forms are returned from the
parents. If the gymnast is enrolling in two
spring gymnastics classes on the same
registration form, they will only have to
pay one gymnastics exhibition fee and
will receive one exhibition t-shirt. Please
inform your gymnastics coach if your child is
enrolled in more than one gymnastics class.
Suggested
Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable
pants/shorts. Please no jean, jean shorts,
or any other type of clothing with buttons
or buckles which could be harmful to your
child or the equipment. We require long
hair to be tied back and out of face. No
shoes, earrings, bracelets or necklaces
allowed. Socks are optional, but not
recommended for medium/high beam.

So You Want to Learn a Kip?

Beginning Tumbling is a fast paced class that develops
coordination, strength, flexibility, balance and self-confidence.
Beginning Tumbling is for children that are new to Tumbling,
interested in exploring thru a 45 minute class before progressing
to the 75 minute class Tumbling Class that meets twice a week.
Good form and positions will be learned at this level. Beginning

Bolingbrook Illusions Teams
Ages 6-14 years
The Bolingbrook Illusions is an award winning team that competes against other park district teams in the Chicago land area
following USAG rules. This program is designed for gymnasts ages 6-14 years old that are selected by coaches from the
Developmental IV gymnastics classes. We offer Level 3 Team, Level 4 Team and Level 5 Team. These teams will follow routines and
progressions for vault, uneven bars, beam and floor created by USAG. Competition for these levels takes place from September
through December. Our Optional teams begin competition in January through May and follow the Illinois High School Association
(IHSA) rules. It is a great way to prepare your daughter for High School Gymnastics.
All levels require a strong parent and child commitment of time and energy. Parents are required to attend our annual August Mandatory Meeting committing to a job responsibility in our Illusions Parent Booster Organization. Team leotards, warm ups, grips (optional),
meet fees and tape are additional fees beyond class registration.
Gymnasts will be moved up after satisfying the requirements in the routines for the next progressive level.

The indoor rock climbing wall is a great opportunity for your
organization to improve communication, team building all while
creating a fun and enjoyable experience. Group discounts are

scout groups to obtain merit badges!

The Bolingbrook Park District Climbing Wall has ability for
our constituents to obtain certification in climbing the wall. Certification allows access to the climbing wall at the Annerino Community Center during normal business hours around
programming and scheduled rentals. Certifications are active
for one calendar year from date of certification. Certification
allows individual certify to manually belay a partner at any time
(during normal building hours around programs and private
rentals and/or parties) for the daily rate. If both individuals are
manual belay certified - climbing is FREE! No appointments

Obtaining a manual belay certification allows you to access
the wall year around for FREE. Manual belay allows users to
manually belay a partner up and down the wall holding the

Bolingbrook Park District joins Chicago Wilderness in a regional
initiative called “No Child Left Inside” with the goal of improving
children’s health and fostering generations of children who care
enough about nature to protect it.

SNAPs
The Stewards of Natural Areas in the Parks, or SNAPs, is a
volunteer group dedicated to restoring and protecting the natural
areas managed by the Bolingbrook Park District. Volunteers assist
the Natural Resources staff during scheduled workdays in land
management activities such as clearing brush, collecting native
seed and removing litter in the district’s natural areas. Workdays
are an excellent opportunity to fulfill service hour requirements for
school, confirmation, or scouting.
SNAPs volunteers gain personal satisfaction from accomplishing
tasks that benefits the community while cultivating lasting
friendships with others who share their concern for the
environment.

Located near the northwest corner of Schmidt and Boughton Roads at the bottom of the hill
on Trout Farm Road. With the aid of CorLands, Bolingbrook Park District acquired Hidden
Lakes in 1988.
2016 Fishing Derbies
Don’t miss the excitement of reeling in a prize fish during a fishing
derby. Bait and tackle will be sold as usual in the Tackle Box Bait
Shop. Prize categories and prizes will vary by derby. Bring some
spare change to purchase raffle tickets for fun fishing prizes.
Derby entry fee: $12; derby permit fee is $5
Note: A Hidden Lakes fishing permit is required for all adults
age 16 and older to participate in the derby. Derby rules vary by
derby. Five catfish or three trout catch limit on derby days.
Hidden Oaks staff and the public will not be given dates to

General Information about Pelican
Harbor Indoor Aquatic Park
• Parents or guardians are responsible for the
supervision of their children. Aquatic staff
members are on duty to enforce rules and to
respond in the event of an emergency.
• Entry into the Indoor Aquatic Park is through the
LifeStyles Fitness Center.
• Lined bathing suits are required in pool area
• Personal flotation devices (arm floats, flotation
bathing suits, etc.) will not be permitted unless
they are U.S. Coast Guard approved.
• No rafts or noodles are permitted.
• Children under 10 years of age must be
accompanied by an adult 18 years of age
or older.
• Lockers are available for use at no charge.
Bring your own lock or purchase one for $6.
• Anyone not toilet trained must wear a swim
diaper and a lined bathing suit.
• Pelican Harbor reserves the right to close
attractions due to low attendance.

Bolingbrook and Plainfield Park Districts in their
mission to serve the special needs population.
Our goal is to provide recreational programs
which build self-esteem and promote a lifetime
of growth. LCSRA fosters an environment which
allows individuals to discover their own unique
potential and abilities.

beneficial experience by participating with
their non-disabled peers in Plainfield and
Bolingbrook park district programs. LCSRA
supports inclusive experiences by training staff,
adapting activities, working with behavioral
modifications and more. It’s our belief that all

our back to back Saturday classes specifically
designed for youth on the autism spectrum:
• Sensory Art - where participants create their
own masterpieces using different sensory
textures to stimulate their senses.
• Lunch Bunch - where the focus of this group
will be conversational skills, eye contact and
various social skills.
• Musical Melodies - where we will provide a
variety of musical selections to listen to, play
along with and move to.
• Hang Time - where we teach the social skills
that are needed to participate in social events.
• Yoga - where participants learn to become
calm, control their behaviors, attain new skills

Bolingbrook Youth Baseball League (BYBL)

Give your favorite baseball player the most thrilling and authentic
baseball experience available and help prepare them for moving
on to more challenging and competitive play. The Bolingbrook
Youth Baseball League (BYBL) is the local youth league that
delivers on this promise.
Boundary and other SWILA communities in the Southwest
Suburbs. There will be standings, playoffs and a championship
game for each division at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, home of
the Joliet Slammers. Division assignments for the fall season are
determined by player’s age as of April 30, 2017.
All BYBL home games are played at either Indian Boundary Park
or Wipfler Park. Indian Boundary Park provides big game thrills

For the 2016 season, registration begins online starting in
November, 2015, and in-person registration begins in January

BYBL has several divisions for your child to play in, and offers

baseball, and wish to continue their excellent play at a

Bolingbrook Youth Baseball League is proud to announce that
the spring 2016 season will be the seventh season for Rampage
Baseball, our full-time travel baseball program. We intend to have

for Rampage Baseball will be in late July and early August. Check

Who is BYBL?
BYBL is the local chapter of PONY Baseball, Inc. (Protect Our
Nation’s Youth) and a member of the Greater DuPage PONY
Baseball Association (GDPBA). PONY believes that rather than
change the rules of the game to make it possible for young
people to play, it is better to change the size of the playing field
s and to adjust them to the potential of the players. For our Pinto
and Mustang divisions (youngest players) they are taught
fundamentals from the start, in a controlled environment that
allows them to learn, while enhancing their skills, and still play
real baseball too.
What are the advantages of BYBL?
Authentic baseball rules right from the start, allowing both
wind-up and stretch pitching, lead-offs and base stealing - all
skills players will need as they advance.
What fundamentals are taught?
Coaches work with the kids on how to pitch and catch, the
fundamentals of fielding, batting, lead-offs, and stealing. They are
taught how to play real baseball.
What gives BYBL a big game feel?
Some of our fields are lighted allowing evening games, and some
feature raised mounds for a more authentic experience, grass (as
opposed to dirt) infields, electronic scoreboards and nearby travel
for away games for the older kids in the Spring, which helps build
team spirit and prepare players for the future.

My child was in Tee-ball/Coach-pitch last year, what next?
You’ve come to the right place. Most all of the kids in BYBL
started in the tee-ball league and may have played in
coach-pitch. Either the Pinto or the Mustang division is
where your child would play.

socks, jersey and hat. Pinto, Mustang, Bronco and Pony age
players receive MLB replica uniform jerseys and caps.
All Mustang games are played right here in Bolingbrook. This
too, is a fun age for children’s baseball as they continue to
develop and refine baseball skills and learn to “think” the
game of baseball.
Are families required to participate in fundraising during the
spring season?
Candy sales are offered to help offset some of the registration
costs of playing spring baseball and to help keep the cost of
playing affordable. One of the main benefits of our sale is that
BYBL only asks families to sell candy per family (not sell boxes
for each child playing). Families also have the option to buy-out
and not sell the candy.
BYBL Bronco Division: Ages 11 and 12
The Bronco division is for the 11 and 12 year old child looking to
build on their baseball experience. Leadoffs, the sacrifice bunt,
and hit and run plays are all a part of the Bronco division. Players
also get the chance to play on a larger diamond (70 ft bases) for
that big league feel, and pitch from 48 ft. Coaches at this level
refine the baseball skills and fundamentals of the players
without losing site of the main objective - to have fun. Children
can expect to play approximately 18-20 games each spring
season. Uniforms are provided: MLB replica jersey and cap,
pants, belts and socks.
BYBL Divisions
BYBL Pinto Division: Ages 7 and 8
The Pinto division is intended for 7 and 8 year old players that
want to take the next step after playing coach-pitch or tee-ball.
Children will begin to learn the whole game of baseball. They will
begin to learn how to pitch from the wind-up and stretch, catch,
steal bases, play the outfield, hit the cutoff man, defend the steal,
acknowledge base signs, and turn the double play. For this age
player, the base path is set at 50 ft., and they pitch from 38 ft.
The Pinto Division is intended to be an instructional league, but
season standings are kept and there is post-season play resulting
in a Pinto champion.
All players have equivalent playing time, and rules are in place f
or younger pitchers to allow them opportunity as well. In Pinto,
children can expect to play approximately 14-16 games each
spring season and all games are completed prior to the 4th
of July, leaving family summer vacations intact. Uniforms are
provided: MLB replica jersey and cap, pants and socks.

already learned in the Pinto Division and integrate it into a more
competitive and faster paced environment. The base path is
adjusted to 60 ft. for this age player, and they pitch from 44
ft. The Mustang Division is still intended to be an instructional

BYBL Pony Division: Ages 13 and 14
The Pony division is for the 13 and 14 year old interested in
enjoying a season rich with baseball and healthy competition.
The Pony Division is fun and exciting and played the way
baseball is meant to be played. This is real baseball. Leadoffs,
stealing bases, bunting, hit and run plays, and pick-offs are just
some of the nuances of the game at this level. Games are played
on the same size fields as middle school at this age (80ft bases),
with a 54 ft. mound. Children can expect to play approximately
21-24 games each spring season. Uniforms are provided: MLB
replica jersey and cap, pants, belts and socks.
Colt Division (Ages 15-16), Palomino Division (Ages 17-19),
Collegiate Division (Ages 18-28)
Colt, Palomino & Collegiate divisions will play in the SWILA
Baseball Association, a competitive league for High School and
Collegiate Players, that has teams from Chicago’s SW Suburbs
playing 18 spring games (9 home & 9 away), an All-star Game at
Silver Cross Field in Joliet and Playoffs leading to the Championship games to be played at Silver Cross Field, home of the Joliet
Slammers. All Colt registrants will be drafted to a team. The
Palomino Division registrants may or may not be assigned to a
team on the discretion of the team(s) Head Coach. Any Palomino
or Collegiate registrants who are not assigned to a team would
receive a full refund. These divisions will play games from midMay thru July. Playoffs and Championships will run thru the end

The goal of soccer is fun: Recreational and Competitive Teams
The Bolingbrook Soccer Club has a soccer program to meet your
desire. Whether you are looking for recreational and educational
soccer (in-house) or high level competition soccer (traveling).
The BSC recreational Fall/Spring program has six varying
age levels for kids to experience a progressive level of soccer
concepts and competition. Mini Soccer program for 4 year olds
and continue through our Senior Division for 12 to 14 year olds.
Registration in a particular division will be limited based on the
number of coaches available.
The BSC recreational program now offers aWinter program as
well for players between 7-10 yrs old; which is held at a local
Bolingbrook facility. Program is an 8 week program in January
and February.
The BSC traveling program has teams for boys or girls at most
levels for ages 7 to 18. Please check the Bolingbrook Soccer
Club website for more details. The fees for our traveling program
are some of the lowest in the Chicago area. The girl’s teams
participate in the Illinois Women’s Soccer League (IWSL) and the
boy’s teams participate in the Young Sportsman’s Soccer League
(YSSL). Get the competitive soccer experience for which you are
looking at one-third the cost of other local clubs.
To make any program a success and to ensure everyone has
an opportunity to play, volunteer coaches are needed. If you are
interested in coaching, you can volunteer online, at registration,

Grade - High School (9U-18U):
Bolingbrook Magic offers players the opportunity to improve their
individual skills while learning how to participate in a “team first”
environment. Players and teams will be selected based on skill
level so that everyone will be given an opportunity to further

Panther Sports Club is the ONLY BAC sanctioned organization
devoted entirely to providing GIRLS with sporting opportunities.
Panthers has served the Bolingbrook community for close to 30
years by providing organized volleyball, softball and basketball
throughout the year. We accomplish this by teaching fundamentals
and sportsmanship in an atmosphere of healthy competition and
safety. Each of our sports offers in-house recreational play, as well
as more competitive program options. We look forward to working
with you and your daughters so come and join the fun!
Travel Basketball
The Panther Sports Club Travel Basketball program is ranked as one
of the top 100 programs in the country! If you have completed a few
seasons of in-house basketball and think you are ready to play in
a nationally ranked, more competitive environment, please contact

Slow Pitch Softball
Designed to be instructional with a nice competitive twist. Everyone
plays and has fun!
Registration for Slow Pitch Softball will take place every Saturday in
February and on the last Wednesday of February. Check the website
for exact dates, times and locations.
Slow Pitch levels include:
•Coach Pitch (ages 5-7) focuses on teaching the basics of softball.
•Ponytails (ages 8-10) is still instructional; the girls pitch and we keep
score.
•Majors (ages 11-13) is still instructional, just more experience.
•Seniors (ages 14-18) is still instructional and this is the next level of
talent.
Everyone plays at all levels. The season runs from the end of April

Fastpitch Softball
Panthers Fastpitch offers in-house and travel level fastpitch softball
for girls ages 6 - 18. It is a great way to be competitive while learning
the fundamentals of the game.

Club Volleyball
Club volleyball is for the athlete who is interested in taking her skills
of setting, hitting and serving to the next level and is ready for a more
competitive environment. The Club Volleyball season begins as the
In-House season is ending. Tryouts for the younger levels will be in
October. The older levels will be in November after the high school
seasons finish; actual dates TBD. Our tournaments typically run from

In-House Volleyball begins in late August and runs through

In-House Basketball
Our In-House Basketball program works on teaching the fundamental
basketball skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, and playing defense
for the appropriate age level. Starting basketball at an early age gives
girls a chance to develop fundamental skills they can use in more
competitive school and club programs in the future while developing a love for the game. We provide playing opportunities for ages 7
through High School. The In-House program has begun and will continue through mid-March. Come out and enjoy some games! Please

Registration for the In-House Spring 2016 typically concludes by
end of January, 2016, but contact the fastpitch commissioner if you
have an interested player after that date for possible roster openings.
Players are grouped by 8U (8 years old and under), 10U, 12U, and
16/18U. The age of a player on January 1 of the upcoming season
determines the level she will play. The number of teams is determined
by the number of players that sign up. New coaches are always
welcome to the club too.

Bolingbrook Mustang Youth Flag Football
Season Begins: Fall 2016
“TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!” Boys and girls ages 4
through 8 will have fun learning teamwork, sportsmanship and
fundamental baseball skills in a minimally competitive league.
Registration starts in January. Practices start in late March.
The season starts in late April and concludes with play-offs,
(Coach Pitch), in mid-July. All games are held at the Central
Park tee-ball fields.
Bolingbrook Mustang Youth Flag Football invites you to play
the competitive, contact sport of football, without the tackling.
You will be taught the fundamentals of football and will play
regardless of experience. Teams compete from September to
October, with the Bronco & Stallion teams qualifying for a single
game elimination playoff tournament. After playoffs, the
remaining two teams in each division play in the Flag Bowl. All
players receive a League Uniform, and a Participation Trophy.
We also host Movie Night Under the Stars & a Homecoming
Celebration for present & past parents and players.
Lil’ Tees League (4 year olds)
A program for boys and girls who turn 4 before July 31st are
introduced to the basics of hitting a ball from a baseball tee,
catching, throwing and running the bases in a non-competitive
instructional league. All practices and games are approximately
60 minutes in length and are held on Friday nights at the Central
Park tee-ball fields. Enrollment is limited. For more details, call

Tee-Ball League (5-6 year olds)
Boys and girls who are 5-6 years-old by July 31st are eligible
to play tee-ball. Players bat at a ball that is placed on a batting

process. The Resident ID Card insures that residents will pay
less for programs than nonresidents, who do not support the

Park Permits
Reserve your picnic area for your next social gathering by obtaining a park permit. When
you obtain a permit we take extra care to make sure the area you reserved is clean and
orderly. If another group is in your spot, by authority of the permit, they must relinquish the
site to you. Permits are required for groups of 15 or more.
New in 2016: sites will be based on size and or the amenities of the park. We will
continue to have a $50 refundable security deposit for all park permits.
