the regal, small variety known by its botanical name “Koroneiki”
The Location

Our History

• Belongs to the Extra Virgin category
• Is born from olives originated in a specific region
• Traditional methods are used for the olive trees cultivation and for harvesting the olives
• Is produced by cold extraction or cold pressing
Kalamata PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil owes its unique character to the cultivars of the olive trees,
cultivation techniques, treatment of the olives for oil production, its connection to the manners
and customs of the people of Kalamata and especially to the microclimate and the soil
conditions of the area.

The olives are harvested from October to January when they are still green in order to ensure
the title of “early picked” or “green” olive oils .
What sets the Koroneiki apart when referring to the seed and the olive oil produced is the
unique method of farming. What it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. These olives yield
approximately 6-7 liters of the best olive oil which is golden-green in color and is highly
acclaimed for its fruity and fresh flavor.
