As the global demand for cabin interiors focuses more on the Middle East and less on traditional markets such as Europe and
North America, companies turn to Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) as the only dedicated event in the Middle East to reach

Taking place on the 02-03 February 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre this two day exhibition, co-located with MRO Middle

MARKET INSIGHTS
• The surge of the aviation industry in
the Middle East is second to none
in the world. In the last 20 years
the fleet size of the region’s carriers
has quadrupled from 218 aircraft of
over 100 seats in 1992 to 875 at the
beginning of 2013.
• A recent survey from Honeywell
Aerospace revealed 76% of
respondents – of 1300 Middle East
residents - said they viewed in-flight
connectivity as important or vital.
Some 68% agreed that staying online
while flying is vital for work; while 70%
said they would consider purchasing
Wi-Fi on-board a long haul flight.
• From 2012 – 2013, the number of
Oman Air’s passengers logging on
to the OnAir networks increased by
45%, and 85% more data was used.
OnAir predicts that Oman Air will see a
doubling of Wi-Fi usage in 2014.
