The Bank Street Commons development is a luxury apartment and hotel complex
consisting of two 22 story towers and a 9 story tower above a two-level below-grade
parking structure in the heart of downtown White Plains, New York. Langan provided

towers and shallow foundation support for the parking garage.

The North County & South County Trailways are part of a rails-to-trails project that will
eventually connect Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx to the Putnam County Trailway via a
scenic car-free bike path. Langan employees were retained by the County to provide an
assessment and to prepare construction documents for repair work at several locations
along the North and South County Trailway which were damaged due to severe
weather conditions.

ELISABETH SETON PEDIATRIC CENTER

Elisabeth Seton Pediatric Center, a nonprofit specialty nursing care center for children,
plans to move its headquarters onto a 6.5 acre site. The center is planned to include
138 residential beds for children, including two for short-stay respite care and 12 to 16
for long-term ventilator-dependent children. The center will also house a children’s
diagnostic and treatment clinic and a home health care program for “graduates” and
neighboring children with disabilities. Langan is providing a variety of site/civil and
design services for the project.

and office space at the Westchester County Airport to house their corporate jet fleet.
The hangar was formerly leased by Mobil Oil Corporation during which time spent
solvents leaked into the ground beneath the hangar floor from a drum storage area.

The three-story, 61,000 sf Heimbold Visual Arts Center is the new home to the college's
film, drawing, sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking and art history programs,
which had been scattered around the campus. The new facility includes a 200-seat
auditorium. A geothermal well system was included into the building MEP system to
eliminate the need for an unsightly cooling tower on top of the building. Langan
contributed to the geothermal well system by designing and executing a test well drilling
and groundwater pumping program.
