Meeting Highlights
Car Show Committee: The volunteer signup sheet was passed around. Jayne explained
the parking layout for the show. A request was made for tents to be used. Alan’s tent will
be used at the entrance, Dick has two tents that will be used at registration. Joe has a tent
that will be used for Door Prizes. Alan reported that the Altona Fire Department will purchase and donated fire extinguishers for our sale.
We will plan to meet at the Waterfront parking lot at 4 pm on Saturday to start the setup.
The City will provide picnic tables, garbage cans and barricades.
The Club trailer is here at the Del Grosso’s home. Dennis & Shirley have been working
on graphics for it and would like volunteers to help with their placement after dinner.
Alan’s sister, Nancy Kaska, is preparing three blankets to donate for our Barrel Raffle.
Shirley has prepared two more blankets. Jayne & Miles are working on dowels and wires
to hang the blankets on display in the sales tent.
Bryant LaValley, Julie’s son, has made and donated wood plaques to be used for the special
awards. Those awards were assembled before this meeting. The suggestion was made to
thank Bryant with a gift certificate for a meal somewhere. Julie says that Bryant will not
want to take it but a written thank you note would be nice and we should invite him to
join us for the club picnic.
Honor Flight will be hosting an fundraiser at the Texas Roadhouse on Monday, July 13 th
for anyone interested.
Northern New York Ford Enthusiasts is a new facebook page started by member Tracy McNeil. Tracy explained to Miles that he is not trying to start a new club but an online
site to share photos and ideas. They will have their first gathering tonight, 6 pm at the Waterfront Parking Lot for those interested.

NCMC Facebook Page: Several issues with our Facebook page have been pointed out to
us – generally stemming from non-member use of the page. In light of these concerns, our
facebook page has been converted to a closed group. Kayla DeCoste has volunteered to administer the page in the future. She has been given an active list of our members so as to update the member list there. Any member wishing to become a member of our facebook page
can contact Kayla. We will be able to use that page for activity announcements as needed.
