Fornaci Calce Grigolin S.p.A. is now one of the most important
Italian and international realities in the field of materials and
technologies for construction.
It has over forty years of experience gathered in construction
yards and R&D laboratories and looks to the future with an
aim to continuous development, product quality improvement
and implementation of support services provided by qualified
personnel. All with the goal of becoming the ideal partner for the
players in the construction industry.
The activity began in the 50s when Giobatta Grigolin invested
all his savings in buying a truck to transport sawdust and river
stones for many suppliers located along the river Piave. In 1963
the first Grigolin oven comes into operation. In 1974 Giobatta
Grigolin is joined in the management of the company by his sons
Maurizio and Roberto, who learned responsibility at an early
age. Indeed, when in 1978 Giobatta is missing, the two children
take over the administration of the firm without hesitation. A few
years later, the company structure is planned: Renato joined the
group as the last of the four children of Giobatta and Irma, and
everyone assumes precise roles and responsibilities. The late80s
saw the birth of the production of plaster and masonry mortar,
supplied directly on site by means of silo, and the deployment
of the new hydrated lime plant. In the 90s a new furnace was
install, operated on a 24-hour basis by a sophisticated central
computer. At the same time starts the use of sawdust as fuel
in lieu of methane by using a gentle flame cooking of the lime,
obtaining in this way the patent of the Ministry of Industry. Since
2000, Fornaci Calce Grigolin establishments begin to expand in
the area: Medesano (PR), Bosco Marengo (AL), Borgoricco (PD),
Zandobbio (BG), Nuvolera (BS), San Vito al Tagliamento (PN) and
Colleferro (Rome), the latter being the largest premix plant in Italy.
Since 2002, Grigolin is also present in Germany with the opening
of the Ettlingen establishment and with the acquisition in 2004 of
a consortium of storage buildings, now called arteMURI GmbH. In
2006 “Grigolin SA” was established in Switzerland, while a new
store has been opened in Slovenia. In the same year, Grigopronto
service was activated, a system of equipment delivery directly
on site. Also in 2006, within the Medesano (PR) establishment,
Colorificio was launched: a modern and technologically advanced
service, capable of offering the consumer a wide range of high
quality products. The geographical expansion, technological
innovation and the presence of highly qualified staff have allowed
Fornaci Calce Grigolin to become a leader in the field and to
express its value through:

Colour Project
arteMuri is a paints and finishings line of Fornaci Calce Grigolin; thanks
to these products of high quality and advanced technology, the company
presents itself as a unique supplier for a whole application cycle, from
primers to finishings.
The experienced gained during years spent on building sites and the
studies done by our technical staff and the R&D laboratory developed into 5
product classes, which differentiate from each other with the type binders
used: acrylics, siloxanes,silicates and lime. Additional to these 4 classes
is the specials class, made of highly technological products, specifically
thought for the base preparation and for the finishings.
Tradition, quality and innovation
The arteMURI line distinguishes itself with an
original packaging, a rich Exterior finishings palette
added by the NCS 1950 colours ( worldwide leader in
colours selection technology), to satisfy each single
chromatic request.
The use of the colour machine and the diffusion of
our tintometric system provide quickly the customer
with product samples that reproduce the same colour
in the same quality of the final work effect. The
wide range of solutions of the arteMURI line offers
an efficient synergy and integration with the other

Fornaci Calce Grigolin products, for new buildings,
restoration and eco-building, thermal insulating
systems, concrete surfaces and humid walls
restoration. Our factories and warehouses in Italy
cover a good geographical area for a quick delivery,
also for small quantities, directly to the customer. We
want to offer our customers the best possible result,
as a single cycle, in which the various elements are
binding for a single target: give customers the result
they expect….and even more!

General sale conditions
The present price list voids and replaces the previous ones
Orders
The present sale and delivery conditions are considered accepted by the Buyer who is submitting and undersigning the order. Eventual exceptions are valid only if specifically agreed in writing.
The minimum order of white or coloured is 33 vases of 25 kg each.
Order confirmation
All orders must be submitted in writing and are considered valid only after our approval.
The Buyer, after order submission, is implicitly accepting our general sale conditions, confirming to be aware of the products characteristics and of the application method. Fornaci Calce Grigolin warns the wrong and improper use
of its products and recommends to follow the instructions given on its technical sheets and on its buckets or labels regarding the application method.
The Seller reserves the right to accept or suspend the order in full or partially, even if already accepted, especially when the order processing is impossible due to unforeseen factors, economically unsustainable, or for force majeure
such as production breakdowns or missing raw materials. The Buyer is due to accept the partial order and gives up any indemnity right or whatever compensation for delivery delay.
Credit Limit
The order acceptance is depending on the credit limit assigned to the customer. The value is defined by the sum of the orders already delivered and not paid yet, on top of the existing orders not yet invoiced.
The credit limit is established at the beginning of the cooperation and is annually confirmed; unless often unpaid due amounts or heavy delays in payment, in this case the credit limit could also be cancelled.The supply will be cut
whenever in accounting there is an open amount of unpaid sums or for overdue invoices not paid yet.
Prices
Prices are referring to the latest updated valid price list at order’s placing time, net of any fiscal duty (VAT) and are expressed in Euro (€). The company Fornaci Calce Grigolin reserves the right to modify the price list with no prior
notice. In any case, with a new price list introduction that is voiding and replacing the previous one, also the particular quotations both for normal products and products to be produced on specific Customer’s request automatically fall.
The Company guarantees the quality level of the products available, but reserves the right to implement technical modifications which are necessary to the products and packagings.
Orders for colours developed on specific samples or colours different from our colours cards are subject to an extra cost that will be confirmed time by time from our commercial office.
For the production of colours not realized with the tintometric system, the Company reserves the right to deliver the orders with an excess of 2-3 buckets on the quantity ordered.
Samples
Samples of arteMURI products will be delivered and invoiced at the following prices:
- art. 699997 - paint sample (0,75 lt) - € 4,44 /bucket
- art. 699996 - coating sample (2,5 kg) - € 7,92 /bucket
Prices are understood as net and not discountable. Possible transit via courier fees will be charged separately.
Return conditions, delivery terms and shipping
For the execution of products present in our price list, the order processing will be within 10 days from order receiving date. The delivery terms, even if agreed, are not compelling as they depend on various variables and unforeseen
situations, therefore the Company is not due to any compensation to the Buyer if not respecting them.
The goods must always be picked up by the Buyer. Regardless of destination and sales conditions, the delivery is intended as Ex Factory our Medesano (PR) factory or any other Fornaci Calce Grigolin entity, such as production site
or warehouse referring to the order.
Transportation
For each shipment the Buyer is due to pay a contribution on the transport cost equal to € 0,75 per Bucket for Italy and € 1 for Europe.
Goods are travelling always at Buyer’s own risk, even when it is delivered to final destination (DAP).It is responsibility of the Buyer to control the goods when received. Eventual irregularities, quantity shortage or defects of any kind,
in particular number of pieces, weight, bucket damages, must be claimed immediately to the forwarder in writing on the transport document or delivery receipt, with forwarder’s counter signature. This document must be sent to our
Company in order to claim the irregularity back to the forwarder. Claims for goods irregularities will be accepted only if executed according to the law.
Eventual claims do not entitle the Buyer to suspend or delay the payment of the goods which are claimed or of other deliveries already effected.
Payment terms
Only payments effected in our company’s various plants or offices, or to a person authorized in writing to collect the payment are accepted. Payment must be arranged for the total amount of the invoice and must be done within the
established time limit, without any discount or reduction, except those previously agreed. Payments via Bank transfers are subject to the cash withdrawing costs and eventual stamp duty.
The Seller reserves the right of ownership of the tintometric machines and provided tools until the entire due amount has been paid.
Overdue interests
In case payment terms are not duly respected an overdue interest will be applied based on the official discount rate increased of 7% starting from the day in which the payment was first due. Furthermore, on top of the unpaid amounts,
there will be bank costs and debt collection costs. In case of overdue payments, the Seller has the right to suspend the existing orders and, at its discretion, close the Contract.
Packagings
Following the CEE Norms and the National Laws, on the price list are clearly indicated the packaging mode and the sales unit of our products: volum (1), net weight (kg). Together with the products the sale is extended also to their
containers/packagings, at the price and conditions existing at the time of shipping. The withdraw and dismantling of the empty containers are, in each phase, on account of the product user (D.P.R. 915/1082).
As regards the pallets, they will be charged with a caution of € 12+ VAT per pallet. If returned in good conditions, they will be reimbursed for an amount of € 10,50 + VAT each.
Every pallet may contain: 80 buckets of 5 lt or 33 buckets of 14 lt, 15 lt or 25 kg
Returns
We do not accept returns which have not been previously authorized by us in writing.
Warranty
Our products are produced, controlled and selected for the sale only if they satisfy our standards. Fornaci Calce Grigolin does not offer any warranty for improper or wrong use of our products, therefore in case of eventual damages
of any kind the Company will not be responsible for any kind of reimbursement.
Claims
Claims for defects or non compliance of the goods must be communicated immediately and the claim must be sent to our offices in writing form. For an eventual control, in the written claim must be clearly indicated, on top of all
the products indications, also the production batch number reported on the label.In case of goods replacement, this must always be authorized from Fornaci Calce Grigolin which will not accept any kind of reimbursement or any
other kind of request.
Claims for price differences and/or discounts must be received within 30 days from the invoice date, indicating to the Company every detail of the document.
Colours made with the tintometric machine
Before selling to the final end user, the retailer must check the compliance of the colours realized with the tintometric system. Doing so, the colours differences can be corrected before the product application. Fornaci Calce Grigolin
therefore will not be responsible for eventual claims or reimbursement requests from the final end user for colours differences.
Norm D.L. 161/2006
The VOC values on labels, packagings and technical sheets of the products are valid only using the indications of dilution and the tintometric pastes of Fornaci Calce Grigolin. The final end user, as per law, is responsible for the
different values of VOC introduced in the environment if he does not respect the given indications.
Competent Court
Any kind of dispute on the contract or product, or related to them, will be submitted to the judgement of the only competent Court of Treviso.

Artemuri tintometric system
The Artemuritintometric system is an innovative system that with 15 water based
colouring pastes offers the possibility to realize a wide chromatic range for decoration
and protection of both interiors and exteriors. These highly compatible 15 pastes
allow to colour all products of the Artemuri line: acrylics, siloxanes, elastomerics,
silicates, lime and decorative effects.
Among these 15 colouring pastes, all glycol and solvents free, 9 are suitable for the
exteriors: these are technologically advanced pigments, perfectly resistant, solid
and stable to light and to weather conditions. The Artemuri system requires for most
of our products the use of only 2 tintometric bases: according to the chosen colour
and product, all colours will be obtained using a white base (for the light colours)
and a neutral base (for the strong ones).This will allow you to keep a limited stock
with a better internal organization, and a following savings in economy and space.
The tintometric system, joint with the formulas managing computer system, is
enabling to reproduce all colours of the Artemuri palette, of the NCS catalogue and
RAL table.
This formulary, continuously updated, contains colours selection from the market.
Tintometric assistance - Artemuri offers the possibility to rely on a colourmetric assistance: calling the green number 800 500 555 it is possible to ask the
development of samples colours, personalized colours and those from the most
common national palettes.
Practicaladvices and warnings
•Always check the colours developed: it is absolutely
necessary that the Artemuritintometric system user
verifies adequately the produced colours
before application, obviously after drying
and to the indirect solar light.
•We suggest to create and archive of
all colours obtained with the tintometric
machine: for this purpose we supply,
together with the equipment, white
cardboards on which to apply your colour
tests, so to use them both as colour test
and as following check for eventual site
application.
•During the colour production, even if the
tintometric bases and the colouring pastes are
properly tested and inspected, we suggest to
use products from the same production batch
(as per Bucket label), to avoid even minor tone
differences
•To guarantee a correct use of the tintometric
system we recommend to not overlook
the requested regular maintenance of the
supplied equipment (colour machine +
mixer )
