milk bar wedding cakes are unique! all of our cakes are produced exactly the
same way as they are for the bakery with unfrosted sides to highlight all of
the delicious fillings layered inside. our cakes are never covered in fondant or
butter cream. we make 1-6 tier cakes in any combination of cake flavors. we
let you choose how the tiers are layered. all cakes come on a stainless steel
platter. choose to decorate your cake with flowers to match your bouquet or
center piece, or a cake topper.
tiered cake sizes and cost*:
small three tier cake (10”,6”,4”): $400* (serves 60)
large three tier cake (14”,10”,6”): $700* (serves 120)
four tier cake (14”,10”6”,4”): $750* (serves 140)
six tier cake (14”,12”,10”,8”,6”,4”) $1,200* (serves 210)
We also offer party cakes that are great as supplemental cakes for cutting or
for your next celebration or birthday!
10” cake: $100 (serves 20 to 30)
14” cake: $170 (serves 40 to 50)
18”x26” sheet cake: $250 (serves 120 to 150)
*cost does not include possible off-the-menu fees, delivery fee, and applicable tax. there is an
additional $50 warm weather insulated packing fee for wedding cakes that are delivered outside
of manhattan and brooklyn, ny in may-september.
wedding favors:
we offer cookies, cake truffles, and slices of crack pie® as take aways, in
addition to alternative desserts like the cake truffle croquembouche.
time line:
we require a minimum of one month notice, and will accept orders up to 6
months in advance. during our busy season (may-october) we ask for 3-6
months notice to ensure we can fit you onto our production and delivery

planning a wedding outside of nyc? no problem!

we ship our wedding cakes nationwide via ups next day air. cakes are
shipped in an insulated foam shipping box designed for perishable goods and

packaged with ice packs and protective foil filling. In addition to the price of

the cake, there is a $250 handling fee which covers the packaging and labor
f t
involved, as well as an overnight UPS shipping fee which is typically $100-$200
(exact price depends on numerous factors including distance, location, time,
weight, and changing fuel costs).

wedding cake tastings:
our wedding cake tasting package includes samples of each of the 8 cake
flavors currently available on our menu. our cakes are cut into 1”x1” two bite
samples for you to enjoy. If you will be sampling with your wedding party we
recommend ordering 1 box for every 2 people in the group.
wedding cake tastings can be purchased online for pick-up at any of our nyc
stores with 3 or more days notice, or they can be shipped directly to any u.s.

Milk Bar is the sister bakery of the Momofuku restaurant group, headed
by the 2012 James Beard Rising Star Chef of the Year award and finalist
for the 2014 & 2015 James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef award, chef/
owner and founder Christina Tosi. Since its opening in November
of 2008, Milk Bar has focused on putting a playfully American,
approachable spin on familiar home-style desserts and savory snacks
using quality ingredients and locally-sourced dairy. Popular items
include cereal milk™ ice cream, compost cookies®, and crack pie®. Milk
Bar has six locations in New York and one in Toronto, with another
opening in Washington, D.C. later this year. Christina Tosi and Milk Bar

Jimmy Fallon, Conan, The New York Times, The Guardian, Vogue, Vogue
Australia and InStyle Magazine. The bakery’s first cookbook, Momofuku
Milk Bar, includes all the cult favorites from their kitchen. A second
cookbook, Milk Bar Life, is due out April 7, 2015 with Clarkson Potter. It
will highlight the hilarious, youthful, and fun-loving culture of Milk Bar
through sweet and savory recipes and good ol’ fashioned storytelling.
Milk Bar makes custom wedding cakes, produces their own line of
baking mixes, and ships baked goods all around the globe. They also
offer weekly baking classes at their Williamsburg kitchen, the heart of
Milk Bar.

Christina Tosi is the chef, owner and founder of Milk Bar, called “one of
the most exciting bakeries in the country” by Bon Appétit Magazine. As
founder of the dessert program at Momofuku, Christina got her start
helping Momofuku Ko earn two stars from the Michelin Guide and
Momofuku Ssäm jump onto restaurant magazine’s top 100 restaurants
in the world list. She is the 2012 recipient of the James Beard Rising
Star Chef of the Year award and a finalist for the 2014 and 2015.
James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef award. She also recently joined
the judging panel on FOX’s MasterChef & MasterChef Junior. She
serves on the Board of Directors for Hot Bread Kitchen and Cookies for
Kids’ Cancer. Christina lives in Brooklyn, NY with her two dogs and eats
an unconscionable amount of raw cookie dough every day.
