our President, Susan Sadolin. Along with our very talented team of Danish designers, this collection presents a
wonderful blend of unique innovation and exquisite style to the cruise and hotel industry.
Since 2007 Shores Contract has been a leading wholesaler and supplier in North America, the Middle East
and Europe with more than 30 years experience in the furniture and fabric industries.
Shores Contract is a well-established player in the market, thanks to our pre-eminent service and commitment
to quality. We have supplied approximately one third of the worlds cruise ships and we are preferred vendors of
the largest hotel chains.
Shores Contract is extremely excited about our significant contributions this year. Armed with a deep understanding of the extreme demand requirements of outdoor furniture, we set out to find quality and material

The Company
OX design is a Danish company producing exciting furniture under the brand name OX. Materials are primarily
high quality vegetable-tanned leather combined with stainless steel or wood. Our brand name OX is a tribute
to our unique raw material and the animal providing it.
OX Design is a result of Danish design tradition teaming up with skilled craftsmen from Spain and Argentina to
create unique products.
OX Leather
OX leather, the backbone of most of our products, is produced from Spanish and Argentine cattle. We mainly
use leather with a thickness of at least 3 mm.
The fact that Argentine and Spanish cattle are normally spending most of their lives in the field as opposed to
in the stables means that Nature will leave marks such as insect bites. These marks reflect a Natural product.
In the same way, since our leather is a natural product, colors will vary slightly since hides from animals from
different geographical conditions will react in different ways to the coloring process.
Come feel for yourself and get to know the OX feeling.
We use solid materials and a light expression. OX is furniture built to last a lifetime if taken good care of. Like
good wine, OX Furniture will only get more beautiful as time passes and natural patina sets in.

SHORES MISSION IS TO DELIVER HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT HAVE MINIMAL OR NO LASTING EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. AS AN INDUSTRY LEADER, SHORES STRIVES TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS THAT SHARE THAT MISSION.
BELOW ARE THE MINIMUM GUIDELINES OUR SUPPLIERS ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW:
ISO 9001
The ISO 14000 family of standards is primarily concerned with environmental management. Environmental
management refers to an organization‘s structure for managing its processes or activities. ISO is a useful
toolbox enabling our suppliers to meet environmental challenges and to implement supportive actions to
sustainable development.
EMAS
The EMAS registration contributes to a better and more systematic follow-up on all environmental activities.
EMAS is a management tool for companies and other organizations to evaluate, report, and improve their
environmental performance. A certificate is awarded to companies who have implemented environmental
management at an outstanding level. Registered companies are demanded to continuously set and carry
out new environmental objectives to achieve progressive environmental improvements. Internal audits are
carried out every six months by the Bureau Veritas Group.
CERTIFICATES
Our entire outdoor furniture collection is made to withstand extreme temperatures and is UV resistant. The
collection is also colorfast, salt water repellent, and unlike other traditional outdoor furniture it requires minimal
maintenance. Quality is first rate with incredible durability, lasting for years at a time. Hand-woven with unique
synthetic fibers made from toxic free, fully dyed recyclable polyethylene materials. The combination of woven
fibers and frames of new pure or galvanized aluminum make the furniture 100% suitable for outdoor use. Our
aluminum frames range from 1.8 to 2.5 mm in thickness and can hold up to 250 kg. All teak used in our
products is harvested from carefully controlled plantations.
LOW MAINTENANCE FURNITURE
• Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth to clean.
• Occasionally quick wash with a non-foaming mild detergent.
• Clean between the weave with a nylon brush or low-pressure air hose.
• Our various fabrics come with individual washing instructions.
IMO CERTIFIED FABRICS
Shores offers a wide range of fabric colors and textures, including fabrics that are IMO certified and treated with
stain, fungal, and UV protectors. The treatments used are safe, reliable, and effective in preventing mold and
mildew. In keeping with our environmental stewardship program, our fabrics are also manufactured in “Green”
factories. Our Spradling fabric lines have the highest grade of stain resistance with the ability to withstand
stains such as wine, food, and sunscreen. Spradling’s carefully engineered coated fabrics utilize the finest raw
materials to exceed outdoor standards. Spradling offers the largest and most diverse collection of in-demand
upholstery selections. Our distinct fabrics with incredible durability and the multitude of colors, styles, and
finishes make our fabrics the perfect choice for any outdoor application.

CERTIFICATES
QUICK DRY FOAM (Q.D.F.)
Quick Dry Foam is a unique performance outdoor foam produced by a special process called “Hydro-Blast
Reticulation”. Reticulated foam has large, open pores permitting the maximum water drainage and air
circulation allowing for quick usage after getting wet or even saturated. QDF is the first and only reticulated
foam to meet IMO certifications. In addition Q.D.F. uses anti –microbial protection, which prohibits growth of
common molds and fungus inside the cushions even when left outdoors for extended periods of time.
Q.D.F. is the highest density foam available in the reticulated foam family, averaging 2.0 to 2.2 pounds per
cubic foot, where our competitors peak at 1.8 pounds per cubic foot. Most important, because of the foam’s
high resiliency,it is able to withstand years of usage without losing form or comfort.
Shores Contract also offers a full line of high quality custom made pillows and cushions for any application
within their area of expertise; from dining chairs and large sectionals to drapery and wall coverings. Shores
Contract also offers a variety of fixation systems for cushions, allowing them to be safely secured to the furniture.
Our products are perfected with the finest UV yarn and YKK zippers. And we are able to assure competitive
pricing and a quick turnaround for both the US and European markets.
