Children’s Music & Drama Camp
Sunday mornings at CVZ this summer –
Kids ages 4 through 12 will be a part of the
“CVZ Kids Space Camp” where they will
explore, sing songs, play games, learn
Bible lessons, and be a part of a full length
musical drama— Blast Off! Discovering the
God of Creation. The kid’s production of
Blast-Off! will be performed at the end of
the summer. Go to the church website:

WINGS (Women In God’s Service) a
women’s ministry of CVZ Church is
sponsoring a Sunday afternoon social in honor of Mother’s Day for women and girls of all
ages. There will be a program in the
sanctuary “Seeing in the Darkness” the Story
of Fanny Crosby by Debi Wahl (ACT 1
Productions). Refreshments will follow in
the social hall. Please join us and bring a

The Spiritual Life Committee is asking for
donations of new or gently used stuffed bears.
They will be a very special part of our church
prayer walk on the National Day of Prayer this
May. There will be a large box in the Narthex
labeled "Prayer Bears" where you can leave
your donated teddy bears. Thank you very
much for your generosity. We look forward to
seeing you on May 7th as we
spend our evening together in
a church wide prayer walk! If

PRC
The Pastoral Relationship Committee (PRC) is
organized under the direction of the E.C.
denomination as a conferring and
counseling committee and shall be available
for consultation with the pastor concerning
conditions with the church that pertains to
various pastoral duties. The committee
membership consists of the Pastor, the
Official Board president: Lenny Kuntz, the Lay
Delegate: Bob Grubb and three members of the
congregation: Dave Weaver (Chairperson),
Vickie Schwalm (Vice Chairperson) and Melissa
Seachrist (Secretary). The committee meets
quarterly. If you have any concerns regarding
the pastor, the PRC provides the forum for you
to have your concerns addressed. If you do not
feel comfortable sharing your concerns with the
pastor, please feel free to talk to any committee
member and they will make sure your concerns
are addressed and will remain confidential.
There will be an
increase in the cost to
sponsor Altar Flowers
starting Easter Sunday.
The new cost is $35.00.
If you have already signed up to sponsor
flowers for a date in 2015 and the new
cost will be a hard ship please contact
Pastor or the office for assistance.

Missionary Prayer Partners: APRIL
Pray for Brian and Missy Wagner and their
family (Hannah & Micah at home and Rachel at
Millersville University). Pray as they teach and
mentor at Rift Valley Academy in Kenya and for
good health and safety in this African country.
We are still seeking individuals
to be apart of the team going to
Tanzania, Africa in June 2016.

WINGS meets the first Tuesday of the month
at 7pm in the social hall.
CVYU Youth Group will be participating in work
nights to pack “Bags of Smiles” for Caitlin
Smiles. These arts and crafts activity bags are
given to sick children staying in local hospitals.
The CVYU will help at the Caitlin Smiles facility
on 6th Street in Harrisburg on April 20, 6-8pm
and May 20, 6:30- 8:30pm. Others are
welcome to come along and help as long as

A family in the Dauphin community is looking to
hire a responsible teenager or adult to babysit
their 5 year old grandson for the summer.
Babysitting would be at their
home during the day, 3 to 4 days
weekly. If interested please

you need and 5% of the card cost goes to the
CVZ Camp Fund.

Creation Festival 2015 … We would
like to order group tickets in
April. To do so we need a
commitment from all those
interested along with ticket
payment. Please contact Deb Fedor
at [email protected] or the office if
interested as soon as possible.
Creation Tickets are $102.00 for 5
days of camping and concerts.
Summer Church Camp!
The camp schedules are now online so you can
start planning which camp week or day camp
your kids will attend this summer.
A registration fee (paid directly to either
Twin Pines in Stroudsburg or Camp Hebron in
Halifax) will reserve your spot. There are many
camp weeks and age groups to choose from.

or for more details. Each camper will also receive
financial help through the CVZ Camp Fund.
