We did a little something different for this year’s third party administrator source list. We decided to leverage
the exhaustive research expertise offered by our colleagues over at Judy Diamond Associates — especially
since they just wrapped up a comprehensive census of the marketplace, which includes more than 1,200
companies. Since we obviously didn’t have that much space, we came up with a formula for whittling down
the list to the top 250. You’ll find them listed alphabetically on the following pages. To come up with these
top 250, we used a combination of employee size, number of physical locations, number of clients, revenue
and claims processed, and came up with the following. Because we looked at so many data elements, it’s
