or an innovative material called Lexus NuLuxe. Compared to other synthetic leathers, its manufacturing
process generates no VOCs and 65% fewer CO2 emissions. Exclusive exterior enhancements include

ULTRA LUXURY PACKAGE
Providing a level of luxury rivaling the finest sedans in the
world, the Ultra Luxury Package features seating trimmed in
soft, semi-aniline leather to complement the hand-selected
wood trim. The driver’s seat cushion extends at the push of
a button, providing additional thigh support. And a power
rear sunshade, rear-side window shades and, in the ES 350,
the luxury of a panoramic glass roof overhead elevate the
rear-seat experience to new heights.
A PRECISELY TUNED SUSPENSION
The suspension system on the all-new ES was engineered for
exhilaration. In the shock absorbers, new valving and reduced
friction help enhance ride comfort and linear steering response.
New opposite-wound front coil springs are designed to help
improve straight-line control. And, new rear-suspension geometry
helps provide better agility and overall control.
The all-new ES leaves an indelible impression, whether moving or not. The striking stance of its longer wheelbase
and lower profile commands attention. Its sculpted lines, available 18-inch wheels12 and distinctive LED daytime
running lights turn heads. Set in motion, it becomes even more impossible to ignore. Its lighter, more rigid body
and a new, more dynamic suspension combine to help deliver precise handling through turns and added stability

DRIVE MODE SELECT
Customize the performance of the ES with Drive Mode Select.
In ECO mode, a calming blue light surrounds the gauge cluster
while climate and throttle settings are optimized for increased fuel
efficiency. Normal mode offers the optimal balance of comfort
and performance. Sport mode changes the gauge cluster lighting
to a fiery red, replaces the ES 300h Hybrid System Indicator
with a tachometer, enhances the steering feel and increases the
throttle response for more dynamic acceleration.
EMBRACES ALL ASPECTS OF THE DRIVER.

INTUITIVE DESIGN
The interior of the ES proves the best automotive design
doesn’t come from studying automobiles, but rather
drivers. The shape of the available Remote Touch8 device is
based on the curves of the human palm. Its motion mimics
a computer mouse. A new steering wheel was crafted
specifically to fit perfectly in your hands regardless of their
placement. And, to help keep your focus on the road
ahead, the center display is purposely positioned closer to
the driver’s natural line of sight.
DRIVER POSITION
Settle into the bolstered, 10-way power driver’s seat, grab hold of
the LFA-inspired steering wheel, place your feet upon the pedals
and you’ll immediately sense that all three aspects were designed
in tandem to achieve optimal driver engagement and comfort.
And, to ensure that every driver can fully enjoy all this engineering,
available memory recalls up to three personalized driving positions
(including seat, steering wheel and outer mirror positions) at the
touch of a button.
Whether you’re in the mood to relax in world-class comfort or eager
to impose your will on an unsuspecting stretch of winding road, the level
of engagement you crave can vary. Now, with a turn of the innovative
Drive Mode Select switch, so does the ES. From the efficiency of ECO
mode to the added responsiveness of Sport mode, it’s just one of the
many ways ES was designed with the driver in mind.

BLIND SPOT MONITOR
WITH REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT
Accidents can happen anywhere, from parking lots to major highways.
Fortunately, the ES offers two new ways designed to help you avoid
both. For the first time on a Lexus, the available Blind Spot Monitor13
features an ingenious Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system that can help
detect and warn you of vehicles approaching from behind on either
side as you back out of a parking space. And, at speeds above 10 mph,
the Blind Spot Monitor can help you change lanes more safely by
warning you if it detects vehicles in the adjacent lanes.

Of all the areas worthy of focus on the all-new ES, among the most important is its focus on helping to keep
you safe. In addition to offering an ingenious system designed to help warn you of adjacent vehicles when
changing lanes,13 available Lane Departure Alert14 helps detect visible lane markings, and if you veer, it can
warn you with audible and visual cues. Available intelligent high-beam headlamps15 automatically switch
to low-beam when they sense headlamps or taillamps ahead. And in the event that your vehicle’s airbags16
deploy, or you’re involved in a serious rear-end collision, available Safety Connect®3,17 can even contact a
response center agent who can notify local emergency services and direct them to your vehicle’s location.

typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate.
To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front
