Dr. Jacobs has been practicing veterinary medicine in the
Midland, Michigan area since 1991. Her experience and
expertise ranges from small animal internal medicine and
diagnostics, pediatric medicine, soft tissue surgery,
performance dog nutrition, and canine reproduction.

Dr. Jocelynn Jacobs
Dr. Jacobs graduated from Michigan State University’s
College of Veterinary Medicine with a study emphasis in
advanced canine reproduction. As a senior veterinary
student she was awarded the Small Animal
Theriogenology (reproduction) award.
The strong interest Dr. Jacobs has in canine reproduction
stems from her background as a dog breeder. Dr. Jacobs
has shown, raised, and bred AKC Alaskan Malamutes since
1989. To date she has finished dozens of conformation
titles (American and Canadian) and has owner-handled
multiple malamutes as specials ranking them top in the
country. She has also been dog sled racing her malamutes
since 1991, so she understands and enjoys working with
performance dog enthusiasts.
Dr. Jacobs is focused on combining biotechnology,
veterinary science, and information technology to provide
high quality reproduction medicine for your breeding stud
and bitch. She is knowledgeable about emerging trends
and best practices in veterinary diagnostics. She practices
with attention to critical detail, dedication to service, and a
high level of professionalism.
