ModelCompetitiontookplaceattheRialtoCenterfor
theArtsatGeorgiaStateUniversityonJune6,2009.The

World-ClassClassicPhysiquesisproudtopresentVisualArt2011-aphysiquemodelcompetitionwithaportionoftheproceeds(twodollarsfromeveryticketsold)tobenefittheAIDSResearchConsortiumofAtlanta(ARCA).ARCA,foundedin1988,isanon-profit501(c)(3)centerfor
treatmentandpreventionresearch,education,andfreeHIV/STDtestingservices.Theyarelocated
at131PoncedeLeonAve.,inAtlanta.$1fromeachticketsoldwillbedonatedtoUNICF’sTap
Project,anefforttobringcleanandaccessiblewatertomillionsofchildrenaroundtheworld.$1
canprovidecleanwaterfor40days.Visttapproject.orgformoreinformation.
EstablishedintheFallof2008,World-ClassClassicPhysiques’goalistopresentphysique
competitionsinanon-traditionalformat.Allexperiencelevelsarewelcome.Fromnovicetoprofessional,fromlightweighttoheavyweight.VisualArtwillcombineTheArtswiththeartofbodybuilding.Itisbodybuildingmeetspopularrealitytvtalentandmodelshows.Afterabriefvideo
andposingroutinefromthecompetitors,industryexpertsandjudgeswillchoosethetopwinner
ineachcategory,theaudiencewillchoosetheoverallwinner.
Thewinnerswillreceiveaprizepackagecontainingsponsorgifts.$2fromeacheventticket
willgototheoverallwinner’snon-profit501(c)(3)charity.SeenonTheRealHousewivesofAtlanta
andhostoftheMissGeorgiaPolecompetition,VerticalJoe’sFitnesswillbefeaturedduringthe
show.
VisualArtwillbepromotedonsocialnetworkingsitessuchasFacebook,Twitterand
bodybuilding.com.OtherlocalmediaoutletssuchasCreativeLoafing,theAJC.com,AtlantaNow

willbecontacted.Ticketpricesfortheeventwillrangefrom$15forstudentswithI.D.to$35for
VIPseatingand$25forgeneraladmission.
