When developing new products, CAD technology is used
to create a 3D draft of the product. The benefit of CAD
technology is that the whole development process is
based on digital data, including sampling, prototyping
and tool making as well as many plastic manufacturing
processes such as extrusion, injection moulding,
laser cutting, thermoforming, milling or shaping.
Consistent quality is therefore guaranteed throughout.

is also manufactured using extrusion techniques.

Shaping plastics
Injection Moulding
With injection moulding, products can be mass
produced and used straight away. The moulding
material is injected into the tool.

We have many years’ experience in this field.
We have over 300 different tools available allowing
us to manufacture products such as poster frames,
leaflet dispensers, clips, etc.
In machinery with a locking pressure between
250 to 4200 kN we process thermoplastics using single
or multi component moulding to create parts of up to
1936 g.

Working under high pressure?
Not always!
Thermoforming
This involves working with a vacuum. Thermoforming
or vacuum forming is a process which changes the shape
of thermoplastic materials. A plastic semi-finished
product is fixed to the edges and, using a heater,
warmed to its softening point.
A shaping tool is then pressed against the panel and
using air channels in the tool a vacuum is created.
The high atmospheric pressure pushes the soft plastic
against the tool wall. By cooling the shape the material
is hardened in place.

Wood Processing
Plastics processing forms a large part of our business
but even plastics are not suitable for everything.

Where does the
journey end?
Assembly & Logistics
In our logistics centre we store, manage, pick and pack
in an area of over 6000 m².
We can assemble, repackage and hold goods on
request. Goods are despatched using economical
freight forwarders and couriers. Germany-wide,
Europe-wide, worldwide. Express shipments and
overnight shipments may also be possible for an
additional charge.

No problem!
Social Engagement
The balance between family and career is a key economic
theme in demographic development and a lack of skilled
workers.
VKF Renzel has been running its own crèche “FaBeLand”
since August 2008 sponsored by the AWO (Workers’
Welfare Association). The abbreciation FaBe stands for
family (Familie) and career (Beruf) and offers parents the
opportunity to join childcare and work together.
This has the advantage that our workers can return to
work quickly and without complication thereby retaining
their knowledge and skills within the company.
