HOME OF CHAMPIONS
The University of Connecticut Division of Athletics is truly the "Home
of Champions." The most tangible evidence of this came early last
April when on consecutive days, UConn won both the NCAA Division I
men's and women's basketball championships.
The phrase "Home of Champions" means much more. For decades,
UConn teams have been winning national and conference championships while the Division of Athletics has asserted itself as one of the
finest in the country.
More importantly, UConn student-athletes have been champions in
the classroom and in the community. Thousands of former Huskies
have now graduated and moved out into the world in every vocation
imaginable. Current UConn student-athletes dedicate hours of their
free time to charitable and community organizations around the state.
It's all part of the UConn Division of Athletics - the "Home of
Champions."
