May not field all three - Must have an OCIE pattern that works with all three - Theater specific color palette for uniforms can be developed and quickly fielded, but they must work with the existing OCIE Uniforms are relatively inexpensive and short lived OCIE is expensive and enduring Global IV Camouflage Effort Long-term, Army-wide Camouflage Solution OCIE Pattern ~3 Color Uniform Patterns Geometry Matches or Complements OCIE Woodland 5-8 Color (3 common to OCIE) Multi-Terrain 5-8 Colors (3 common to OCIE) Desert 5-8 Colors (3 common to OCIE) Develop and test all three Uniform Patterns. AR 600-9 used as guide for fit test participants User Evaluation: Jan-May 11 Coats - Adjusted length of the coat Narrowed shoulder width Adjusted chest, waist, and sweep Adjusted the sleeve length, and width Reshaped bi-swing to have a curved seam Repositioned pencil and sleeve pockets Repositioned and graded elbow patches Repositioned rank Trousers - Added elastic waistband - Removed drawstring - Adjusted hips - Shortened button fly - Lengthened back rise - Repositioned pockets – lower leg - Repositioned knee patches Both coat and trousers will have 13 sizes Reviewing current sizes for redundancy 12 Mountain Combat Boot (SEP & RFI) SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: A durable, hikingstyle mountain combat boot for use by Soldiers in rugged mountainous terrain Will meet/exceed the current operational capabilities and replace the Boot Ski Mountain (OCIE) ─ Non-marking, oil and slip resistant rubber outsole RFI ─ Waterproof SEP OBJECTIVE: To provide a combateffective mountain boot with the ankle stability, support and mobility required in a mountainous environment.
