At room temperature, how many elements are in a solid form? 2. How many elements are in a liquid form? 3. How many elements are gasses? 4. How many more metals than nonmetals are there? 5. How many metals are there? How many metalloids? 6. How many non‐metallic elements are there? 7. Most of the elements on the periodic table are (metal/non‐ metal/metalloid) and (solid/liquid/gas). 8. Think about how you organized your characters.What did Mendeleev do that was similar? 9. Look at the numbers in each box‐‐ what patterns do you see between the numbers in 1 box, and the numbers in surrounding boxes? 10. Look at each box in the table. What do all the boxes have in common?
