Select Series Highlights
Consequential Loss
Covers Business Contents damaged by freezing, dampness, dryness
of atmosphere or extreme changes in temperature if the building or
equipment inside the building have been damaged by a Covered
Cause of Loss.
Blanket By-Laws*†
Blanket basis form which provides coverage for loss to an
undamaged portion of a building, demolition cost coverage or
increased cost of construction should there be a by-law requirement.
The amount of insurance for the building is increased by 25% if a
Covered Cause of Loss occurs.

Equipment Breakdown
Covers sudden and accidental breakdown to mechanical, electrical
and electronic equipment, as well as loss of perishable goods that
spoil as a result.
Flex Protect*
Provides a generous annual blanket limit for Accounts Receivable,
Automatic Sprinkler Fire Suppression System – Accidental Discharge,
Cost of Preparing a Proof of Loss, Exterior Paving, Fine Arts, Fire
Department Service Charge, Master Key, Outdoor Trees, Shrubs and
Plants, Personal Effects and Property of Others and Valuable Papers
and Records.
Loss of Income
Covers the actual loss of income sustained caused by an interruption
to business or the untenantability of premises resulting from a
Covered Cause of Loss. Provides coverage for up to 12 months past
the date of loss.
No Bodily Injury Liability Deductible
Covers bodily injury and property damage claims arising out of
operations. If a bodily injury occurs, you will not be assessed a deductible.
No Coinsurance
The Select Series is written on a no coinsurance basis on buildings
and contents. As a result, there is no penalty for partial losses in the
event of under insurance. The policy deductible would still apply.
Retailers Product Impairment
If sales are lost due to a product recall, we will pay for loss of income
up to the specified limit in your Select Series Policy.
