To attract new artists to the Armonk Outdoor Art Show
and recognize the talent and imagination of up-andcoming artists
ELIGIBILITY:
Artists 21 years or older who are first-time exhibitors
at the Armonk Outdoor Art Show
This award, created in 2016, honors Sylvia Rogers,
a long-time Chairperson and friend of the Art Show, and
its key beneficiary, the North Castle Public Library. Sylvia
brought flair and energy to the Art Show, and found joy in
helping others gain the exposure they need to sustain their
life’s passion. Sylvia was particularly known for helping all
newcomers feel welcome and included.

Artist Awards—
1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention awards are given out in
seven different categories. We also give out a “Best of Show” award.

Located in the back right-hand side of show. Various children’s
activities.

Large ArtWork Purchases—
For artwork too heavy or too large to carry that will fit in your
vehicle, ask the artist to call for volunteer assistance.

Visit Armonk business district for banks with ATMs. Leave the show,
turn left onto Rte. 22 South at the traffic light, then take the first
right onto Main Street at the next traffic light (Rte. 128). Citibank
and Bank of America are on the left, Wells Fargo and Chase are on
the right.

Anywhere on the show grounds.

Closest public telephone is at the La Quinta Inn & Suites on
Business Park Drive.
Raffle Booth—
Provided by Armonk Fire Department, located near the Exit Booth.
Located in the middle of the main aisle in a large green tent, tickets
are $5 each, 5 for $20. All items are donated by the artists. Buy
raffles only for the items you want to take a chance on. The raffle
drawing will take place on Sunday at 4 p.m. You need not be present
to win.
Food Court—
RE-ENTRY TO SHOW—
Meet our Gold Sponsors located in front of the children's tent.
First Aid—
Features hot and cold food and drinks from Beascakes, David Chen,
Everything About Crepes, Mobile Pie Truck, Skinny Buddah, Penny
Licks, and Tazza Cafe. Please do not take food or drinks into the
exhibitor booths.
Free Shuttle Bus—
Available from all parking lots along Business Park Drive to show
grounds.
Handicapped Parking—
Available in Parking Lot #1 with transportation to the show
entrance.
Information BOOTH—
Located mid-field at row I, across from the Raffle Booth. Volunteers
are there to answer your questions.
Kids' SCAVENGER Hunt­—
For children ages 5–12, pick up an activity sheet at the Welcome
Kiosk behind the front entrance.
To re-enter Show, register at the Exit Booth when leaving.
Restrooms—
Located near the exit and at the back of the show to the left of the
High School Booth.
Trash AND RECYCLING—
Bins are located throughout the perimeter of the show. Please leave
all your trash from the show in the designated garbage and recycle
bins and not on the roadway.

We are the Friends of the
North Castle Public Library
We help make our libraries in Armonk and North White Plains the
vibrant centers of our community. Here are a few of the many activities
we provide: Friday Night Cinema, music programs, language and cooking
classes, bridge and mah jong, technology, meditation, kid and teen
activities, and great theater. We sponsor art lectures and world-famous
speakers. We also provide for needs not covered by the budget—study
carrels and sturdy furniture, videos and CD’s and, recently, the new
Children’s Reading Nook in Armonk.
With help from the Friends and the enthusiastic participation of our
community, our libraries are the go-to places for culture, education and
entertainment in North Castle.
