welcome to torah club
Shalom,
Why is the Bible so hard to understand? It’s a Jewish book!
Did you know that the whole Bible was written by Jews? That Jesus and all his
disciples were Jewish and practiced Judaism? If you don’t understand Judaism,
you won’t understand the Bible.
Gentile Christians unfamiliar with Judaism and the Jewish roots of Christianity
often misunderstand important things in the Bible without even suspecting
it. Torah Club students have a special portal into the Bible, a passport into the
world of Jewish thought, commentary, and history which opens the whole
Bible and makes all the pieces fit together.
Torah Club is more than a Bible study, it’s a Bible education. The Torah
(Instruction) of Moses is the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus,
Leviticus, and Deuteronomy. The Torah Club is a one-of-a-kind Bible study
spanning Genesis to Revelation, and its all about connecting Christians back to
the Jewish Roots of Christianity.
We at First Fruits of Zion are on a mission to restore an understanding of the
original faith and practice of the apostles and first followers of Yeshua of
Nazareth. We specialize in teaching Scripture from a historical, linguistic, and
cultural context using ancient, biblical and extra-biblical sources.
Torah Club resources will help you to:
„„
Make sense out of the Bible, seeing it like you’ve never seen it before
„„
Get closer to God and deeper into His Word
„„
Fall in Love with the Torah, the whole Bible, and the Jewish people
„„
Get to know Jesus better
After almost two thousand years, Jewish people are beginning to reconsider
Yeshua, and many are meeting him as the Messiah. Christians are rediscovering
their relationship to Israel and the Jewish people. God is on the move, and
the wheels of biblical prophecy have begun to turn. This is one of the most
exciting times in history to be alive.
Thank you for considering Torah Club.
Grace and Peace

FROM THE COVER: The inscription ‫ ב״ה‬is an acronym in Hebrew that stands for Be’ezrat HaShem
(‫)בעזרת השם‬, which means “With God’s help.” It serves as a reminder that we are dependent upon
God for everything we do, and that all must be done for his sake and his glory.

Where Do I Begin?
The Six Volumes of Torah Club
Six years worth of study materials seems like a lot,
but each volume is written as a stand-alone resource.
Knowing where to begin depends on who you are, why
you are studying, and your previous level of study.
Beginner Track
Study with the Rabbis
For Christians new to Torah
and Jewish Roots
By the time you finish, you will have a
greater understanding of the breadth of
Jewish and Christian scholarship. Torah Club
Bible reading assignments are accompanied
by copious written commentaries
condensing vast libraries of learning into
easily digestible, weekly studies. All notes
include citations inviting students to delve
deeper into the original sources. You’ll
discover insights from ancient Jewish sages,
modern messianic and non-messianic
rabbis, and Christian scholars.
We recommend that most students begin
with Volume One: Unrolling the Scroll, a
friendly introduction to the five books of
Moses and the Jewish Roots of Christianity.
From here you should proceed through all
other volumes sequentially.
Intermediate Track
For believers who have been through
the weekly Torah cycle before
Students already familiar with the basics
of Torah study, the weekly parashot, and
Messianic Judaism may want to begin
in Volume Two: Shadows of the Messiah
to discover how Messiah is present in
the Torah of Moses. In subsequent years,
go on to study the remaining volumes
sequentially.
New Testament Track
For Pastors, Teachers and students
seeking NT commentary
Start in Torah Club Volume Four: Chronicles
of the Apostles. Volume Four’s systematic
commentary on the Gospels will provide
pastors and teachers endless material for
your sermons and teachings that will dazzle
your congregation. In the subsequent year,
press on into Volume Six: Chronicles of the
Apostles, a Messianic Jewish commentary
on the Book of Acts and the history of the
apostolic era up until the early second
century.

Testimonials
AA I just started Torah Club Volume 6. I’ve
been learning from FFOZ for two years
and have never felt so much growth,
clarity, and blessing. I wake up each day,
and I actually feel excited that I am a
partaker of Torah Club and your work.
—M S.
AA Awakened! Thank you for your work in
Torah Club Volume 3. Seeing the Prophets
(biblical prophecy) in context is liberating
and enlightening. Thank you for this
balanced and solid teaching. —Selwyn D.
AA ‘Chronicles of Messiah’ has been the
most exciting of all Torah Club volumes
and the best messianic teaching
resource I’ve ever encountered. It has
also helped me gain a clearer Jewish
perspective, which is lacking throughout
the messianic community.

It’s given me love for the Bible!
Thank you!! —Stephanie S.
This study has been an
incredible journey. The new
look at the Master is fresh and
meaningful. So many questions
are answered!
—Mr. and Mrs. Byron K.
Since I began my Torah Club studies I can say that my knowledge
about Jesus has greatly increased. I have a better vision of who He
is, a proper understanding of the Scriptures, and of course in turn,
all of this has made me a better disciple, better equipped to serve
Him. So once again, thank you. —S. G. F, Argentina
Torah Club 3 has enriched my
outlook. Before I would single
out prophecies in the Hebrew
Bible to fit them to my personal
view. Now I’m excited to first
understand the words in their
context, evaluate how events
played out and then speculate on
the future. —Theo V., South Africa
