MURDER MYSTERY
Another fabulous installment of a KMT matinee
show.
Become a detective and prove you are Miss Marple
and Poirot rolled into one! Join us for a fun filled
afternoon as you help us to solve a murder mystery.
You can expect all the plot twists and stock
characters of an Agatha Christie novel as you while
away the afternoon enjoying a cup of tea and a slice
of cake.
This is a downstairs studio production, and will
therefore have limited availability so book early
to avoid disappointment!
Many year's ago “Christmas Crackers” was
eagerly anticipated as the Theatre Club's
a n n u a l C h r i s t m a s p a r t y. B e c a u s e o f t h e
technical demands of the pantomime
preparations we had to drop the regular date
on the weekend before the pantomime opened.
But the show is back! The theatre staff,
volunteers and KMT favourites will entertain
you with an afternoon of songs, comedy (all
with a “Christmassy” feel) and the annual
CHRISTMAS DRAW - and then everyone will
get together over a drink and a mince pie or
two. This is the ideal way to start celebrating
the festive season.
THIS IS A MAIN AUDITORIUM SHOW.

Based on
MONTY PYTHON’S
Life Of Brian
Following on from last years hugely successful fundraising concert ‘NINE’ you are once again invited to attend a
show, unlike anything that has been staged at the KMT before! A complete company of over 100 performers and
musicians, led by Steven Day, who are all giving their time free of charge to raise much needed funds for the KMT.
In 1979, Monty Python’s LIFE OF BRIAN turned the Biblical epic on its head. Now, the creators of SPAMALOT, Eric
Idle & John Du Prez turn classical music on its ear! Prepare for NOT THE MESSIAH (He's a Very Naughty Boy),
the comedic masterpiece that combines all of the unforgettable humor of the Python’s most celebrated film with the
overblown grandeur of operatic soloists, full symphony orchestra and chorus. This Oratorio has only ever been
performed twice before, at the Hollywood Bowl and The Royal Albert Hall, so the KMT is in good company!
This years fundraiser is guaranteed to be even bigger than before. Every penny of the ticket price, programme
sales, and raffle will go straight into the coffers to keep the KMT going strong.

SILVER BELLES
An Audience with Jack the Ripper is a two hour
show hosted by Trevor Marriot, a retired
British Police murder squad detective, who
since 2002 has been conducting a cold case
investigation into The Whitechapel Murders of
1888. Trevor talks about and describes his
lengthy investigation and discloses the new
startling results.
His one man show is packed with pictures from
1888 showing original crime scene
photographs of the victims, the suspects
together with many other original photographs
from 1888 relative to the murders...
WARNING
Comedian and national treasure Dave Thursby has died, and on the day of his funeral friends and colleages gather
to pay their last respects. Dave's glamorous widow Laura has arranged a funeral to remember, complete with
horse drawn hearse and an attendant dog. The party is joined by an unknown woman in flamboyant mourning
clothes and a series of surprise revelations follow. Did anyone really know the "real" Dave who seems to be having
the last laugh? This is one funeral that brings a very funny slant to what is usually a sad occasion.
It should be noted that some of these
photographs are of a disturbing and graphic
nature which some persons may find disturbing
however adequate notice is given during the
show.

CHRISTMAS IS Y-COMING
The Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra return for another
glorious show. A stunning 10 piece orchestra
comprising some of the UK’s brightest and most
accomplished musicians.
The Food of Love return to the Kenneth More
Theatre by popular demand with their usual skilful
and fun mix of opera, operetta and light music;
singing popular pieces and also introducing the
lesser-known – both serious and comic! From the
pens of: Puccini, Verdi, Handel, Gilbert & Sullivan,
Julian Slade, Tom Lehrer, Coward, Novello,
Rodgers & Hammerstein, Flanders & Swann and, of
course, Anon! This time the theme is The Seasons;
even daring to introduce - in November - Christmas
songs in anticipation of that jovial time of the year!
Specialising in the hot and sweet music of the
1920s and 1930s, the Orchestra celebrates the best
of the British and American dance bands of the era
– plus one or two surprises. Directed by vocalist
Tony Jacobs, the show is packed with great songs
and tunes – authentically and lovingly recreated,
and is highly informative and very witty.
The show is also graced by the lovely Catherine
Sykes – described as ‘having a voice to die for!'

The hilarious and touching comedy of Christmas misunderstandings by the writer of Calendar
Girls - all about what happens when you're not playing Mary!
The same actors play both children and their uncannily similar parents, as we join the infants
class at Flint Street School preparing for their first nativity performance. The Virgin Mary has a
fierce competitor in the spiteful angel Gabriel, Wise Man Frankincense is verbally challenged by
a lisp, Herod rages like a footballer brutally brought down mid-match and the Innkeeper
behaves like a psychopath. To crown it all, baby Jesus' head has fallen off. Fretting about their
offspring's impending public performance, the adults row, rage and obsess just like their
children, to hilarious effect. Whilst the clothes may change, the foibles are all too similar...!

Deep in the forest, by the banks of a great
river, lived a large crocodile. He was a very
selfish crocodile and he wouldn’t share this
river with any of the other creatures. He
thought it was HIS river! So, the animals
stayed away.
But, one day there was a terrible scream, - the
crocodile had a toothache. Nobody dared to
help him, until a brave little mouse found a
clever way to solve this snappy dilemma.
This is a downstairs studio production, and
will therefore have limited availability so book
early to avoid disappointment!
