21 Days / 20 Nights Tour
Day 1: NEGOMBO
After your arrival in Sri Lanka we meet at the airport and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to a hotel in Negombo. Rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner
and overnight in Negombo.
Day 2: NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – SIGIRIYA
Early morning we leave for Sigiriya. On the way we visit a roof tile factory, pineapple plantation and later the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This attraction,
established as a sanctuary, is one of the most popular in Sri Lanka. Visitors are invited to observe and assist the baby elephants as they are fed from giant feeding
bottles, before they plod down to the river for their daily bath.
Day 3: SIGIRIYA
After breakfast visit the world heritage site of Sigiriya which is considered as 8th wonder of the world. Afterwards travel to Kandy another fascinating city of Sri
Lanka. Dinner and overnight in Kandy.
In the afternoon we will do a elephant back safari and village safari. Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 4: SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA – DAMBULLA – SIGIRIYA
After breakfast sightseeing of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th-12th century A.D).
On the way back visit Dambulla Cave Temple. One of the most valuable and scenic rock temples in Sri Lanka which dates back to the 1st Century BC. On its rock
ceiling you can see many colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha's previous births. The caves house the largest collection
of Buddha statues in one place. Dinner and overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 5: SIGIRIYA – TRINCOMALEE
After breakfast in the hotel, leave for Trincomalee which lies on the north east coast of the island. Check in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Tricomalee
beach.
Day 6: TRINCOMALEE
Visit Pigeon Island and go for whale watching, visit the beautiful coral and ornamental fish collection. Scuba diving and more activities in Trincomalee beach.
Dinner and overnight stay in Trincomalee.
Day 7: TRINCOMALEE – KANDY
After breakfast we proceed to Kandy. On the way to Kandy we will visit a herbal and spice garden in Matale and a Hindu temple with lots of statues. In Kandy we
visit the Temple of The Tooth. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Kandy.
Day 8: KANDY
After breakfast visit Peradeniya Botanical garden. Then you will be getting a city tour including a round tour on foot around the Kandy lake. You can see the
historical museum of Kandy. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Kandy.
Day 9: KANDY
After breakfast at hotel, leave for visiting the gem museum, a gem mine and wood carving factory. In the evening visit the traditional cultural Kandy dancing
show. Dinner and overnight at Kandy.
Day 10: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
After breakfast we leave for Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya supposed to be one of the coolest places on the island but it is really just like an English spring day
although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see the evidence of the British influence. Houses like country cottages or Queen
Ann style mansions.
En-route to Nuwara Eliya visit the famous Ramboda waterfall, a tea plantation and a working tea factory. Reach Nuwara Eliya and leisure at the Gregory lake.
Dinner and overnight in hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 11: NUWARA ELIYA – HORTON PLAINS – NUWARA ELIYA
After early breakfast you will make a trip to Horton Plains, Sri Lanka's highest and most isolated plateau. Set on a backdrop of the hauntingly beautiful landscape
of cloud, forests and endless grasslands, Horton Plains is the perfect place for nature lovers with its rich biodiversity and stunning views. You might sight many
wild animals and different species of birds enjoying the resplendent surroundings. Walk through Horton Plains to the precipice known as World's End, a sheer
drop of an astonishing 1'050 meters. This is an excellent place to look out over the surrounding hills and a popular spot for photos.
Return to Nuwara Eliya in the afternoon where you will have a golf course. Dinner and overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 12: NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA
After breakfast you will experince one of the most scenic train journeys in the world from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. Visit Ella Gap, Rawana waterfall and nine arched
bridge. Dinner and overnight stay in Ella.
Day 13: ELLA – KATARAGAMA – YALA
After breakfast leave for Yala. En route visit the kovils and take part in the Pooja at Kataragama. Kataragama is the location where Rama met Sita after her release
from captivity. It is from Kataragama that Rama, Sita & Lakshman returned to India in a Chariot lent to them by Indra. Dinner and overnight stay in Yala.
Day 14: YALA – MIRISSA
Early morning go for a game drive to Yala, one of the island's most popular wildlife parks where you could see allmost all the animals which are found in Sri Lanka.
After that we continue to Mirissa where we have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 15: MIRISSA – GALLE – BENTOTA
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive up Sri Lanka&'s west coast to Bentota. En route visit Galle fort and a turtle hatchery. In the afternoon, check in one
of the popular beach resorts which are also situated in the “Golden Stretch of Beaches” in Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight stay at a beach resort.
Day 16 - Day 19: BENTOTA
Beach stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the golden beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere. Lazing on a sun deck
reading a book of you choice and sipping a fresh tropical fruit drink. Or water skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling, jet skiing, dolphin and whale watching, diving and
much more…. Dinner and overnight stay at Bentota beach hotel.
Day 20: BENTOTA – COLOMBO
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Colombo. After check in the hotel you will have a Colombo city tour. Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, is the largest city and
main port of Sri Lanka. It is also the commercial and financial center of Sri Lanka. A bustling metropolis, the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the
lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city. After the city tour shopping in Colombo. Dinner and overnight in
Colombo.
Day 21: COLOMBO – AIRPORT
Transfer to the airport. End of tour.
