K6 - Nuraghi, Giants and Traditional Tastes

Day 1
Arrival at the airport of Cagliari Elmas,
Pick up of the hired car (not included). Drive to Cagliari and
walk along the district "Marina".
Aperitif and lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to Bonarcado
and check in at the booked Hotel.
Free dinner and overnight.
Day 2
In the morning visit of an important dolmen
and a holy well in the surrounding area.
Free lunch.
In the afternoon, walk through the beautiful park
of the "Sources of San Leonardo".
Back to Bonarcado,
free dinner and overnight.
Day 3
After breakfast, visit of two small villages
known for their "murales" and the basketry.
Visit of a local producer of "malvasia" and tasting.
The we continue direction Bosa and have lunch
in a typical restaurant.
In the afternoon, we stroll down the old town
and visit the "Malaspina Castle".
Return to Bonarcado, dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Check out and transfer to the booked hotel in the village of Cabras.
Visit of an important archaeological site in the Sinis Peninsula.
Free lunch .
In the afternoon, walk along the beach "Is Aruttas"
or another coastal site.
Return to Cabras, free dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast, visit of the Museum of Cabras
which houses the statues of the "Giants of Mont 'e Prama".
Then visit of a winery in the village, that is well-known also
for its unique wine "Vernaccia". Tasting.
Free lunch.
In the afternoon, excursion to Oristano
and walk through the streets downtown.
Free dinner and overnight at the hotel in Cabras.
Day 6
The first stage of this route involves a trip to Arborea,
a town which is famous for its cheese production.
Visit (by appointment) to a local producer of milk .
Next transfer into the territory of Arbus to discover
a fascinating abandoned mining site
and the majestic sand dunes of Piscinas.
Picnic in a relax area.
In the afternoon, back to Cabras.
Free dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Check out, transfer to the airport
of Cagliari-Elmas and departure.
Price per person in double room starting from € 540.00
