On the way, one passes through Nam Sam, Loi Lin, Kon Hein, Main Pyin and can witness and experience various tribes and their cultures like Wa, Lahu, Palaung and Shan.Before arriving at Kyaington, one has to negotiate many dangerous mountainous winding roads, so special care should be given when driving. The Inle Phaungdawoo Pagoda Festival is well known and there are many boat race competitions of the one-legged rowers. Kaku Pagodas are ancient places in the Shan State.
