Madhuvanthi Arun Calibre Educational Foundation - A Brief History Calibre Kinder Years & Calibre International School - units of Calibre educational foundation School was located at Mylapore and grew from strength to strength in the years ahead. Founder Trustee - Arun Kumar Vaddi (Grandson of Gemini Ganesan - the romantic icon of Tamil cinema) Delivered a custom developed curriculum in collaboration with our UK partner Edward Richardson Primary School, Tetford that had the goodness of internationalism founded on Indian values. Correspondent and Managing Trustee - Madhuvanthi Arun granddaughter of Dr. Mrs. Y G Parthasarathy, the Dean and Director of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Schools, Chennai Delivered 3 yrs of CBSE curriculum successfully till year 2012. In the quest for providing up to date and real time education, Calibre sought to affiliate with PEARSON Edexcel, the International UK curriculum in December 2012. Started in June 2006, soft launched by Shri Abdul Kalam, our Former President, with a vision of developing proactive global citizens. Calibre’s strength and visions of providing global education has today received much recognition and has manifested into collaborations and is proud to announce its partnership with Shri Ram Properties. This sustained collaboration has broken down geographical boundaries through our projects undertaken every year, every term and sharing through Skype sessions has brought virtual interaction. The two schools have been vigorously engaged in projects like studying about natural vegetation and sharing with each other, exchanges on art, culture, cuisines, traditions and many more for the past 6 years and we look forward to collaborating on more projects aimed at developing creativity and language skills. Connecting classrooms project, undertaken by Calibre and Edward Richardson under the aegis of British Council has been successfully extended across the globe, promoting tie ups between different schools in the UK and Chennai, India. The two schools have together been linked with Croydon Hills Primary School, Melbourne, Australia. Calibre International School 16 Ms. Aagnes Lazar She is a meticulous and committed person who is passionate about carrying out her work to the best of her ability. In short she is a workaholic. She is a very frank and honest individual, who calls a spade a spade. She has excellent people skills and maintains a cordial relationship with parents. Aagnes holds a bachelors degree in English and Education - B.Ed. She taught in ‘The Cliff School’ - Ooty for several years. She is a multi - faceted person who has also worked for the media.
