Journey through the history of Ancient Rome: through special audio systems with headphones the spectators will listen to music,
special effects and the story narrated by Piero Angela in 8 languages (Italian, English, French, Russian, Spanish and Japanese,
German and Chinese). The story is accompanied by some amazing videos and reconstructions.
The Foro di Cesare originally meant an expansion of the Foro Romano. The Foro, however, evolved so that it served two additional
purposes. As Caesar became more and more involved in this project, the Foro became a place for public business that was related
to the Senate in addition to a shrine for Caesar himself as well as Venus Genetrix. The visit follows a path through the Foro di
Traiano to an underground tunnel which crosses the via dei Fori Imperiali till the Foro di Cesare.

Visit to Fori imperiali
The Fori Imperiali have been going through three archeological excavations in the areas of the Foro di Cesare, of the Tempio della
Pace, and of the Foro di Traiano, including an extension of 15,000 sq.m., the largest urban excavation project ever realized.

Private visit to Museo dei Mercati di Traiano The Mercati di Traiano represents an area that has experienced the evolution of the city from the imperial age to today. Once the
strategic administrative centre of the Fori Imperiali, successively became a noble residence, a military fortress, a prestigious convent
and a barracks. It has gone through architectural changes and the signs of different eras are all still visible. Now, with the
completion of recent restorations The Mercati di Traiano have begun a new “season” of life.
