Prayer of Comfort
Arbell married the late Rev. Willie Lee Hardnett, who served in the U.S. Navy. During
this Holy Union, they were blessed by the Lord with five beautiful children. For many
years, Arbell worked as a presser at the Halamart Dress Factory, until the shop
closed. Later she became an assistant at both Chapman and Brown Nursing Homes
in Alexander City, which she loved. It was then that Arbell achieved one of her
dreams, by attending adult night school at Laurel High and was able to earn her GED
from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. In her spare time, Arbell entertained
and continued to edvicate herself by reading books. She loved to read all types of genres: fiction, non-fiction, romance and biographies. She also appreciated the peacefulness of sitting on the banks of different lakes to catch catfish
Arbell is preceded in death by her youngest son, Botis (Minnie Lee) of Georgia, Eight
