Thetransformationthatourcountry,world,thateachofusdeeplyneedsthough won'tcomefromapoliticalleader.It'salltooeasytoforget,butI'mremindedofSt Paul'swords;"youmustputasideyouroldselfwhichhasbeencorruptedbyfollowingillusorydesires.Yourmindmustberenewedaspiritualrevolution."Ephesians 4:22-23 ThechangewillultimatelyonlycomethrougharelationshipwithGodinChrist Jesus.ThroughtherenewingofourmindthatStPaulspeaksabout,webecome followersofChristandchangeournarrativethatthepersonwithwhomIdisagreeis notmyenemy,butabrotherorsisterinChrist.Thenwecangoaboutthebusiness oflovingothersasChristlovedus. It will be held at Hartville KitchenonTuesday,September20at6:00p.m.(Doorsopenat5:30p.m.).Ticketsare still $25 and will be available in August from Ginny Kamerer, Ed Ody or Andy Pressler. Entertainment will feature Harry “Canary” Arble, a local vocalist. This is FISH’slargestfund-raiserandtheyhopetoonceagainhaveasell-outcrowd.
