Appointments
The appointment department can by reached
by calling Tanner Clinic’s main number (801)
773-4840. The receptionist can transfer
you to appointments; or you may call appointments directly at (801) 773-4865. Dr.
Eberhard has some slots each day reserved
for follow up, well child care, physicals,
consultations, and other routine visits. Other
slots are reserved for children who are sick,
injured, or have urgent concerns. You can
call appointments starting at 7 am each
morning. In addition, Dr. Eberhard’s medical
assistants at ext 3248 can help with appointment scheduling especially if the schedule
is full. Longer visits are needed if: you are a
new patient to Dr. Eberhard, there are several
complex medical conditions, or a new behavioral consultation. Dr Eberhard will see up to
3 siblings at a time.
In the office there are three medical assistants that staff the office. Medical assistants
work closely with Dr Eberhard to collect
vitals, obtain medical information, administer
immunizations, collect laboratory specimens,
provide phone triage, give medical advice,
and provide medication refills and prescriptions. They work hard to assure your child
receives the best care available and your
visit is pleasant and productive. Working
closely with Dr Eberhard, they are able to
answer most questions and help with many
common pediatric ailments. However, please
feel free to request a call back from
Dr. Eberhard if you feel it is necessary.
