Taubate is nestled in a valley with a stunning mountain range to the west, and the many beaches bordering the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Rio de Janeiro is just a few hours to the north, and Sao Paulo is a short drive to the south. Ilhabela (Beautiful Island): This archipelago and city is situated four miles from the coast of Sao Paulo state, and is accessible by ferry. Ilhabela is a popular destination for water sports like sailing and scuba diving. And its quaint markets, historical architecture, 41 paradisiac beaches, hiking trails, waterfalls, and restaurants with the freshest seafood you'll ever taste make it the ideal spot to get away. Campos do Jordao (Sao Paulo state): This tour will bring you to the highest city in Brazil, known as Brazil’s Switzerland for its beautiful European architecture. The city is nestled in a picturesque mountain range with stunning views and offers a wide range of shopping, restaurants, music events, historical sites, cultural attractions, and more. We will visit Horto Florestal State Park, take a cable car ride up the mountain, explore the famous downtown area called Capivari, ride a vintage train across the city, and experience the unique local cuisine. Sao Paulo: This city is considered the cultural capital of Latin America with thousands of attractions. We will have a tour driving in the most famous downtown area, and then we will visit Ibirapuera Park, Sao Paulo’s equivalent of New York City’s Central Park.
