Registration
Registration fees may be paid via cash or check only. Registration for all classes, programs, activities and events are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Spaces are not reserved or guaranteed. Fees will not be prorated for late registrations. Schedules and times are subject to change. Prices are subject to change without notice. Contact the District Office for updates. Registration is taken at the District Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Registration forms are available at the District Office or you may print a copy
from our website at www.jarpd.org. District is not responsible for printing errors. A
$25.00 service charge will be applied to all returned checks. Classes must meet minimum enrollments before class will start.

Fees:
Registration fees are based upon District residency. Residents are determined by those
whom reside within the Zip Codes of 91752 and 92509. Those living outside either zip
code are considered non-residents. Please call the District Office for the most up to
date information.
Refund and Late Fee Policies
Refunds are only issued in the event the District cancels a program, class, activity or
event. Approved refunds will be issued via check.
At the time of registration and prior to enrollment or participation with any District
program, a Late Fee Policy Form & Emergency Card must be completed. By parent(s) and/or
guardian(s), with a child enrolled in a District program, arriving to pick up a child anytime
after 5 minutes from the time the program has ended, a “Late Fee” will take effect. A fee of
$1.00 per minute will be applied every minute thereafter until a parent/guardian arrives.
This late fee payment is due in full, immediately, upon arrival, payable by cash or check. In
the event this fee is not paid at the time of arrival, the child will then be excused from the
program in which they are enrolled. The payment must then be paid at the Jurupa Area
Recreation and Park District Office before the child may return to the program.

The Park District is pleased to announce our 4th Annual Community Run on May 30, 2015.
Come join this opportunity for family, friends, and neighbors along with athletes from neighboring cities to get active. The Start/Finish Line Celebration will be located at Agate Park, 8623
Jurupa Rd., Jurupa Valley 92509. Runners and walkers of all experience levels are invited to
participate and experience this unique course.

A limited number of scholarships are available for the following programs:
Youth Basketball AGES 6-16:
7 week Summer recreational league for girls
and boys. practices are twice a week and games on Saturdays.
Sports for Tykes AGES 3-5: Instructional, non-scoring, 4 week
program designed to introduce boys and girls to various sports and
increase their physical activity.

This is a 7 week recreational league for girls and boys with 2 weeks of pre-season practice. A
copy of each player’s birth certificate is required at time of registration. Volunteer coaches
required for all teams. If a team fails to acquire an approved volunteer coach by the first day
of practice, players will receive a refund. Volunteer coaches must clear background check and
clear fingerprinting before being granted a team. Due to a large volume of special requests for
a particular coach, practice time, carpools, etc. requests are not guaranteed. Registration fee
includes all team practices, league games, team jersey and end of season award.
10% sibling discount. All players must attend skills day to help with team placement.

This instructional, non-scoring, 4-week program is designed to
introduce boys and girls to various sports and increase their physical activity using mini-sized equipment taught by Recreation Staff
and volunteers. Sports rotate throughout the year. Minimum of 12

This a 30 minute class for the youngest dancers. A beginning level class using techniques tailored
to the age group for brand new students. Children will learn basic Ballet and Tap steps as well as
discipline, balance and basic coordination. Participants will gain self-esteem and learn to follow
directions. Instructor is very patient with young children and allows each child to learn at their
own pace. This is a perfect class to help children get ready for pre-school.
Sessions 1 and 2 are 6 weeks long, *Session 3 is 8 weeks long.

At the end of each 8 week class will be a DANCE RECITAL on October 24, 2015. Children
will learn dances in their regular classes which will lead up to the program’s second dance recital! This
is a great experience and a fun time for participants to showcase what they have learned. Costume
accessories will be added to regular dance clothes to fit each theme of each dance.

Parents must provide leotard, tights, and shoes.
This is a 45 minute Ballet & Tap combo class for beginning students
ready for the next level after the Pre-Combo 1. Children will learn

18 YEARS OLD AND UP
Come and join these fun and exciting lessons.
Ballroom dance is a great way to improve your
health and increase your exercise. This class will
introduce creative dance techniques of ballroom
dancing to young and old. Participants will learn
coordination, posture, basic and fundamental
steps as well as form, focus, gracefulness, timing
and more needed for social dancing events. Students will explore Salsa, Cha-cha, Rumba, Waltz,
Tango, 2 Step and Country Line Dancing. Sessions are 5 weeks long.

Tot Time is a recreational program for children 3 to 5 years old taught by
our Recreation Staff. Children are provided with daily activities including arts and
crafts, outdoor play, sports, group games, cooking, story time, singing, introduction to letters and writing. Cooperative play, sharing, participation, building selfesteem and independence is emphasized. Class is limited to 40 participants. All children must be potty trained. Class is on-going, on a monthly basis during the
school year. (*Summer sessions are 2 weeks long). 10% discount for additional siblings. Copy of child’s birth certificate required at time of registration.

fees, contact the District Office. A $40.00 processing fee is charged for each facility use
