Faster. Safer. Smarter.
The Penguin School, founded in 1973, is
The Nation’s First Motorcycle Roadracing School.
For over 41 years we have been dedicated to helping
both street riders and experienced racers ride
smarter, faster and with more confidence.
The Penguin Difference
• Highly Experienced Expert Instructors
The Penguin Racing School is known for having top
level instructors. A majority of PRS instructors are
regional or national championship winning expert
riders. Nowhere else can you find so many
qualified, highly experienced riders who love to
share their knowledge with students.
• Detailed Analysis
We have the tools to help you succeed. Track
strategy and body positioning videos provide visual
clarification of track lessons. Trackside observation
and rider photo analysis allow you to track your
individual progress. Also available is optional Video
& GPS lap analysis. If you want to improve....we are
here to help you do it.
• Individual Tutoring and Bike Setup available
Students in all groups are eligible to ride together with
our top instructors in afternoon practice sessions.
We also have the top local suspension
tuners to help you with bike setup
and get your motorcycle
handling it’s very best.
A Place for Everyone
It does not matter if you are a first time track rider or
an expert racer, there is a place for you. Track riding
sessions are separated by level and everyone will be
placed in a group that will give them the best
opportunity to learn.
• Learn without pressure as there is “no inside
passing” in the Track Experience Course
• All levels, students can ride at your own pace
• Experienced racers ride in their own group
Bike Preparation for the School
Most bikes take only about a half hour to
prepare. We recommend that you drain and flush
the antifreeze and put in pure water. Remove the
mirrors and tape over all lights. You must have
good tires and the bike must be fluid tight and in
good condition. Center and side stand removal
is recommended but not required.
Bike Preparation for Racing
If you plan to race the weekend following the
school, you should contact LRRS for a current
CCS rule book: Call Brenda Leonard for CCS
information at (603) 513-5734 or check
www.ccsracing.us or www.lrrsracing.com
Required Equipment
Riders must have a full coverage Snell rated
helmet that is less than 5 years old, leather boots,
leather gloves, zip together leather jacket and
pants or a full racing suit. Rental suits, helmets,
boots and gloves are available. You should
reserve all rental equipment in advance.
Rental Equipment
The Penguin School rents the same equipment
that we race with. Prices are as follows:
Vanson Leathers: $40 /day (+$60 crash deposit)
Arai Helmets: $25 /day (+$100 crash deposit)
TCX Boots: $15 /day
Held Gloves: $10 per day
WARNING—PLEASE READ!
The race track is the safest place for you to go
fast on your bike. However, motorcycle racing
is dangerous! You participate in the school and
ride “at your own risk”. You will be required to
sign a liability release before entering the track.
We strongly recommend that all participants have
proper medical coverage.
