All approved controlled items must be individually affixed with the SIRIM label on the product. However, the illustrations are for ease of reference only as to the description of the electrical equipments requiring such approval and labelling and are therefore non-exhaustive. Any other electrical equipment not illustrated herein but which are for the said purposes and falling under the said categories must also be approved and labelled in accordance with the said Electricity Regulations 1994. The applicable safety and performance standards for electrical equipments can be obtained from the Energy Commission.
