Highlights of some of our Union contracts in Washington State:
F General Wage Increases throughout a three-year contract:12%-22%
depending on which contract referenced.
F Medical/Dental Benefit Dollars: between $4.15 - $4.95 per hour. (This has an
opt out option for cash provision if you have insurance, i.e. Tri-Care)
F Lead pay: $.75 - $2.00 per hour.
F Better Vacation and Sick Leave.
F Pay/Job Classification Adjustments: Written job descriptions that
incorporate proper pay for skills and ability.
We have unionized DOSS Aviation, DynCorp International, L-3, Boeing Aerospace
Operations, Lockheed Martin, Flight Safety, Delaware Resources Group, M-1,
Fidelity Technologies, BAE, Raytheon, and many other workers under the SCA.
Last year we unionized over 300 Computer Science Corporation and M1 workers
at Nellis AFB. These members do flight line and back shop maintenance. Highlights
include:
F Wage increases: 4.0% in Februrary 2010 and 3.5% in 2011 and 2012.
F Medical: $4.25 per hour, $4.75 per hour 2011 and $5.25 per hour 2012. (This has
an opt out option for cash provision if you have insurance i.e Tri-care.)
F Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour second shift. $1.50 per hour for third shift.
Weekend duty and on call pay are also in the agreement.
F Vacation and Sick Leave: Better schedules for earned time off.
The IAM currently represents 5,693 L-3 workers across the United States working
in many different occupations at more than 45 different sites. It’s time for you to take
