every budget, from luxurious lodges to cheerful
chalets. Set in 38 acres of landscaped parkland
with woodland-fringed lakes our independent
David Bellamy award-winning Park is a peaceful
retreat in beautifully maintained surroundings.
Hazelwood Holiday Park has been run by the same
family for over 45 years. After a warm welcome from
Hazelwood’s friendly staff, visitors head away from
the Dawlish Road towards the gently rolling hills. The
wide grass spaces lend a feeling of calm as they pass
the fishermen quietly enjoying the natural lake and
the ducks asleep on the grass. The well-spaced holiday
accommodation has the safe, friendly atmosphere of a
village and by the time our guests enter their holiday
home they will already be starting to unwind.

Seaside Fun
Only 640metres away from a Blue Flag beach, we are
just a short level walk away from all the activities at
the Warren Beach Resort. With a fun-park and go-karts
plus shops and food outlets you’ll have plenty to do
when you’re not sunbathing, rock-pooling or building
sandcastles. Walk a little further along the beach and enjoy
the peace and seclusion of a national nature reserve.
Fishing Lakes
We have two on-site fishing lakes stocked with carp, roach
and tench. During the season permits are only available
to customers of Hazelwood Holiday Park. Everyone
must have their own Environment Agency fishing
licence and a daily fishing permit from our site shop.
Dogs can stay too!
Parts of the beach at Dawlish Warren allow access to
dogs throughout the whole year so this is the ideal
place to bring your dog on holiday with you. A limited
number of units, including our luxurious lodges, have
been set aside for families who would like to holiday
with their pet dogs (maximum of two dogs).

centrally heated, they are cosy all year round.
The built-in kitchens are fully equipped with
everything you might need for a family feast
and some even have dishwashers. There is

Situated in the heart of South Devon,
Hazelwood Holiday Park is just a twenty
minute drive from the M5 and a ten
minute walk from the sea front.
The South Devon coast has miles of sandy beach
interspersed with rock coves, rugged cliffs and
coastal footpaths. Quaint villages, thatched
cottages and old-world pubs rub shoulders with
sophisticated resorts and holiday attractions.
In Dawlish Warren you can enjoy:

Nearby Attractions
Hazelwood Holiday Park is a fabulous location, with lovely
local beaches and a host of pretty towns and villages to
discover. Have fun crossing the Estuary to Exmouth by
passenger ferry, or visit Torquay, the pride of the English
Riviera. For a change of pace, the beautiful cathedral city of
Exeter offers shops, museum, cinemas, theatres and bars.
Dartmoor National Park is close at hand for long
walks. Covering an area of 368square miles it is the
largest and wildest area of open country in Southern
England. There are walking and cycle routes to
suit all tastes and abilities and it has some of the
best archaeological sites in Western Europe.
Week long or short break
Most of our holidays are one or two weeks long and run
from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.
We also offer SHORT BREAKholidays – check the price
list for details. We may occasionally be able to offer
holidays from Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday.
How to pay for
your holiday
We require a deposit of £50per week or short break
to hold the booking. The balance of the holiday
must then be paid at least 56days before you arrive.
If you make a booking for a holiday which is less
than 56days away we require the full payment.

Good Housekeeping Bond (Luxury Lodges)
If you book one of our luxury lodges we require a
refundable Good Housekeeping Bond. Because we
act as an agent for these privately owned lodges
they do not qualify for cancellation protection
like our other accommodation. We recommend
you take out your own travel insurance.

Cancellation protection (optional)
We strongly recommend you take this out, which will refund all
monies paid without taking an administration fee. This must be
paid for at the time of booking.
For this premium, Hazelwood Holiday Park will refund all monies
paid (excluding the cancellation Insurance fee) provided we receive
written confirmation of cancellation of the entire party at least 56
before the commencement of your holiday.
If you cancel your holiday between 56 days prior to arrival and your
arrival date Hazelwood Holiday Park will refund if cancellation is due
to any of the following:
• Death to a named member of the booked party, • Serious illness to a named member of the booked party, or • Redundancy to a named member of the booked party. • Fire, flooding, subsidence or malicious damage rendering your
home uninhabitable.
Any claim must be in writing and supported by the relevant
documents. Our acknowledgement is evidence of having received
your notification.
Please note Hazelwood Holiday Park’s cancellation scheme covers
you until you arrive on site after which refunds cannot be given if
for any reason you leave early. You may wish to take out your own
holiday insurance to cover this.
To Cancel: if you need to cancel you can let us know by telephone
but we require notification in writing. The date that we receive
your cancellation will be considered the cancellation date so we
recommend you send it by recorded post to the address below

Terms & conditions
We advise you to read our terms & conditions. You might want to know how you stand if
you need to cancel due to illness.
Your booking - When you make a booking a contract is formed between Hazelwood
Holiday Park (us) and the customer (you) once we have accepted your initial payment
whether it is a deposit or the full payment (if the booking is made less than 56days before
the start of the holiday). Printed here are the terms and conditions of that contract.
Alterations - Once you have confirmed your booking you cannot change any of the
details without our agreement. In these circumstances we will do our best to help you
make minor alterations in advance of your holiday
Cancellations - If you cancel your holiday you will be responsible for the full cost of
the holiday unless you have purchased any cancellation cover or holiday insurance (see
below). If you wish to cancel you must telephone us on 01626 862955 and then confirm
in writing either by post or email.
Paying - When you make a booking we require an initial deposit in order to hold the
booking. We then require the full payment no later than 56 days before the start of your
holiday. If you make your booking within 56 days of the start date we will require full
payment for your holiday. If the balance of your payment is not received 56 days prior to
the start of your holiday we will assume that you no longer require the accommodation
and we reserve the right to re-let it.
Hire Service - Any linen or equipment hired as part of the booking must be reserved
and paid for as part of the initial holiday payment. All free linen packages must also be
reserved at this time.
Prices - All prices stated in the brochure are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the rate
that was current when the brochure went to print. If the rate has changed since this time
we reserve the right to change our prices according to the new rate.
Your Group - Primarily we run a family holiday park. Only those listed with the booking
can occupy your holiday accommodation. We reserve the right to ask any person not listed
to leave the park.
Number of People - The number of people in your group (including children and babies)
must not exceed the maximum capacity of the holiday accommodation.
Single Sex and Non Family Groups - We do not normally accept single sex or non
family groups. If you wish to make this type of booking you must let us know and we
may ask questions that could mean your party will be accepted. We have the right to
refuse your booking.
Your Age - To make a booking you must be over 18. We do not normally accept bookings
where more than half of the party are aged 17– 25. If this is the case you must let us know
when you attempt to make the booking as we have the right to refuse it.
Children - Children must be supervised whilst
on the park and are the

of their parent or guardian during their stay. Children may only use the swimming pool
if accompanied by an adult.
Dogs - Some of our holiday accommodation is particularly set aside for dog owners with a
maximum of 2dogs per accommodation. We reserve the right to decline certain breeds of dog
so you must give us details.There is a charge to bring your dog(s) on holiday with you, for further
details consult our price list. Any customer who has not revealed the fact that they have brought
their pet on holiday and has not booked into a dog specific accommodation will be asked to
move units or leave the park.
Dog Rules - Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and you must clean up after them.
Dogs are not allowed in the play area and dogs must not be left unattended in the holiday
unit or elsewhere on the Park. You must provide your dog with its own bedding and
discourage it from sitting on the furnishings. If your pet causes a nuisance or any damage
you will be asked to remove it from the Park.
Driving - There is a speed limit on the Park of 5 miles an hour which you must adhere to.
Everyone driving on the Park must be in possession of a driving licence.
Arrival - Your accommodation will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. If you
think your arrival time will be later than 7.00pm we need to make arrangements for you to
pick up your keys somewhere other than Reception. Please make us aware if this is the case.
If you have not arrived by 10.00pm on the day of arrival we will consider the booking to be
cancelled unless we have been notified.
Departure - You must vacate your holiday accommodation by 10.00am on the day of your
departure.
Use of the Accommodation - At the end of your holiday you must leave everything in a
clean, tidy and undamaged condition. You are responsible for any damage or loss that may
occur during your stay. We reserve the right to enter your accommodation under special
circumstances or emergencies.
Your personal possessions - You are responsible for your own personal possessions on the
Park or in your accommodation and we are not responsible for any loss or damage to these.
Your Car - There are speed limits on the Park that you must comply with. Vehicles are driven
into the Park at your own risk and we are not responsible for any loss or damage.
Your Behaviour - We run a family holiday park and if the management considers your
behaviour to be offensive, illegal, disruptive or inappropriate we will ask you to leave. No
refund will be given in these circumstances.
Brochure - We have taken care to make sure the details of our brochure are correct when
going to print, however we shall not be held liable if any facilities become unavailable.
Complaints Procedure - We will do our best to ensure that you enjoy your holiday, however
sometimes problems do occur. If you have any concerns or problems during your stay please
notify the Reception staff immediately and we will attempt to put things right as soon as
possible. We will not be held responsible for any concern that you knew about during your
stay but did not report whilst you were here. If we did not resolve any matter satisfactorily
during your stay you must notify us in writing. Any complaint received more than 14 days
after your departure will not be considered. Please write to the address below.
