Welcome to Lady’s Mile, our award-winning,
family-run holiday park.
Lady’s Mile has been providing family fun for many,
many years. When we were kids, we used to love
running through the park, meeting families and making
sure everybody was having a great time. Today, we’re
no different, except it’s our own children who are
running through the park! We’ve a range of quality
accommodation to cater for all tastes and budgets,
including new, super comfortable family lodges. And
with a host of outdoor and indoor sports and leisure
facilities, fun and games are guaranteed.
New for 2014
2014 promises to provide even greater fun for families.
The newly refurbished Ocean’s Spa boasts a large, heated indoor
pool and an incredible 33m water slide. Plus there is a hot tub
and a sauna for the less daring! Outdoors we’ve installed a new,
multi-sports centre. So kids of all ages and abilities can get
involved and have fun.
The Oceans Restaurant & Bar has been expanded and
modernised to provide mums and dads with their favourite tipple
and the chance to kickback and relax while enjoying a full season
of top-class entertainment.
Fancy a day out and about? Then you’re in luck! Lady’s Mile is
located in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, so you
and your family will find plenty to do. From long, sandy beaches
to zoos and parks.
Finally, we’re really happy to announce a series of environmental
improvements including solar panels that are capable of powering
the entire park. Each of these is designed to save the planet
creating green and affordable family holidays - that’s Lady’s Mile.

have a specially prepared access statement
available which describes the facilities we have
to offer on the park.
If you would like a copy, or wish to discuss any
other special needs, please make our booking
staff aware.
DAWLISH
Deposit and Balance
PETROL STATION
We require a deposit of £50 per week for
holiday homes, and £20 per week for touring
and camping pitches. This is not inclusive of
cancellation insurance. The balance of your
holiday must be paid at least 28 days before
the arrival date. No reminders will be sent
to you. If the balance is not paid in time then
we are entitled to cancel the holiday and retain
the deposit. Should you fail to notify us of a
cancellation you will remain liable for the
full balance of the holiday. Please note we
no longer accept cheques.

Leave the M5 motorway at Junction 30. Take
the A379 signposted Dawlish and carry on for
about 6 miles. Once you pass the small harbour
at Cockwood, continue along the A379 for about
2 miles, cross over the Sainsburys roundabout
and Lady’s Mile is the second left.
Changing your booking

For Oakcliff, after passing Lady’s Mile continue
along the A379 for about 800 yards and take the
first left signposted Dawlish Warren. Oakcliff is
just 3/4 of a mile further on the left.
The number of persons, including infants
occupying our holiday home accommodation
shall not exceed the stated number of berths.
Any breach of this condition shall entitle the
company to terminate the booking and to exclude
any future bookings from the applicants.
During peak season advance bookings are only
accepted on a Saturday to Saturday or Friday
to Friday basis. Mid-weekly and odd night
bookings are accepted in low,mid and high
seasons. The company reserves the right to
cancel any online bookings that breach any
of our terms and conditions.
PLYMOUTH
You’ll find it’s easy to get to us.
The company reserves the right to refuse
acceptance or terminate the visit of any person
whose behaviour is detrimental to other
holidaymakers. Noise on site must be kept to
a minimum after the bar closes at 11pm. Noise
after this time will result in termination of
your holiday. We cater for family holidays and
mixed couples only and regret that we do not
normally accept single sex groups. We do not
normally accept bookings of 4 or more people,
where more than half of the party are aged
17 – 25. We accept bookings from families
on the strict understanding that parents are
prepared to supervise children and young
people on the park, especially during the
evening and night hours. Any families not
abiding by the site rules may also have
their visit terminated.
The lead name on the booking is responsible
for the booking and all members of the party.
CORNWALL

The terms and conditions apply to all members
of the party on whose behalf the booking
is made. Payment of the deposit signifies
acceptance of Lady’s Mile and Oakcliff Holiday
Parks terms and conditions.
A charge of £3 will be made to any confirmed
booking if any alterations are made.
Holiday Home Accommodation
We aim to ensure all accommodation
is available from 4pm, however due to
circumstances beyond our control there may
be a small wait after this time. Any problems

The lead name on the booking is responsible
for providing a nominated credit or debit card
as insurance to our accommodation. If the
holiday home is found to be left in unsatisfactory
conditions £50 will be debited from the
nominated card within 7 days of your departure.
There is also a strict departure time of 10.00am.
Any departures after this time will incur a £50
late stay charge. This will be deducted from the
nominated card on your day of departure should
this fee not be paid in person.
Domestic style central heating is included with
our holiday homes (7am-11am & 5pm-12am)
there will be an additional charge if required on
constantly. (Sandpiper and Osprey have electric
panal heaters)
Linen is included with the Silver Birch Lodge,
The Penthouse and our Acorn and Oak Lodges.
Any other accommodation the linen is charged
£6 per set with a £10 refundable deposit.
Deposit is refunded on departure with the
return of the linen and a receipt. Alternatively
you may wish to bring your own linen.
Whilst we take every care to ensure that you
stay in the accommodation booked, we regret
that due to mechanical breakdowns, weather
conditions or unforeseen circumstances we may
have to alter your accommodation. The company
does guarantee that if alterations are made it
will be to a unit of equal or greater value.
Pet Friendly Holiday Home Accommodation
Please note we are only able to accept dogs
in our dog friendly holiday homes, maximum
of one dog per unit. A £40 supplement per
booking applies (£20 for short breaks). When
booking you will be asked to confirm the breed
of your four legged friend. Unfortunately
we do not accept any dogs named under the
Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 as amended from
time to time, even where these types of dog
are muzzled as required by government
legislation. Pets must not be left unattended in
our accommodation, your own accommodation
or elsewhere at any time on park, and must
be kept on a lead at all times other than in the
dog exercising area. You must use the bins
provided to clear up after your dog. Dogs are
not permitted in the clubhouse, restaurant,
bar, shop, cafe or swimming pool areas.
Touring & Camping Pitches
During high and peak season sites may not be
available until 11.00am and should be vacated
by 11.00am. Any arrivals of touring caravans,
motorhomes or campervans after 10pm must wait
until the next morning before pitching on site.
A late departure charge will be levied for
departures after 12 noon.
Anyone entering the site between 8.00pm and
8.00am will be charged for an extra night.
A £3.00 administration charge will be applied to
all bookings of less than 7 consecutive nights.
The pitches are approximately 9m by 10m. All
your belongings, including any extra cars or tents,
must fit on that pitch. A total of no more than 8
people, including infants, may be accommodated
on a pitch. Gazebos are only permitted on the park
during certain times of the season.
Pre-paid Electric Cards
Electric hook-up is now paid for via a pre-paid
card system. These will be available in 10, 50
and 100 kilowatt increments. There will be no
refunds for part-credit on these cards.
Cancellation Plan
We regret that in the event of arriving late,
leaving early or being evicted for any reason,
no refunds are made.
Our cancellation plan covers you up to and
including the day your holiday commences
against cancellation due to:
• Illness, death, injury or maternity
complications of any member of your party
(detailed by you at the time of booking),
• Your redundancy or that of a spouse
(qualifying for payment under the
Redundancy Payments Legislation),
• Jury service by you or a spouse,
• Death or serious injury or illness of a
close relative (parent, grandparent, child,
grandchild, brother, sister, or spouse).
Provided that these circumstances arose after
you made the booking. We guarantee to return
the full amount* of Deposit and Balance paid to
Lady’s Mile/Oakcliff under this scheme. Please
give as much notice as possible and provide
the appropriate authoritative documents in
confirmation of your reason for cancellation
i.e. Doctor’s Note, Death certificate,
Redundancy Notice under the Payment Act
1965. Claims outside the specified reasons
for cancellations will not be entertained. The
cancellation plan is non-refundable. THE
DECISION OF THE COMPANY ON ALL CLAIMS
IS FINAL. All cancellations should be put in
writing and sent to our head office: Lady’s Mile
Holiday Park, Week Lane, Dawlish, EX7 0LX.
*A £30 administration fee is payable to Lady’s
Mile/Oakcliff on any claim.
Visitors
As most of our facilities are included in the
price you pay (which includes membership to
our bars),we have to charge for day visitors
to the park. Visitors must report and pay at
reception before entering the site.
Facilities
During certain seasons some facilities may
not be open due to lack of demand and
weather conditions, therefore we advise you
to check what is open before booking. Certain
facilities may also be closed due to private
functions. During themed weeks facilities
may be limited/restricted. The company takes
no responsibility in informing you of themed
weeks - please check when booking. We shall
not be liable in the event of any accommodation
or other facilities being unavailable due to
circumstances beyond our control.
Children under 8 years old and those who
are not competent swimmers must be
accompanied by an adult in the swimming pool
areas at all times.
Bars
No one under the age of 18 will buy or drink any
form of alcohol from the site shop or the Bar.
Persons doing so will be asked to leave the site.
Children in the bar must be accompanied by an
adult and stay in the designated family area. We
do advise young people to bring some form of
identification to prove they are 18 should they
wish to buy alcohol whilst staying on site.
Park Rules
Vehicles must not exceed the 5 MILES PER
HOUR speed limit of the parks, and all drivers
must hold a driving licence and have adequate
insurance. Non-registered motorised vehicles
(e.g. scooters, skateboards) are not permitted
on our sites.
To act in a courteous and considerate manner
towards us, our staff and other guests. The use
of bad language, unruly behaviour and loud
music/television will not be tolerated. We will
not tolerate arguments that lead to heated
exchanges on the park. If such an event should
occur we will ask both parties to leave the
park and under such circumstances, we will
be discharged of all liability. Any behaviour
resulting in police presence will terminate any
booking with immediate effect.
Whilst alcohol is permitted, it may only be
consumed on your pitch or in our bar areas.
Please do not walk around with open cans,
bottles and glass etc. We reserve the right to
confiscate any alcohol from anyone breaking
these rules or anyone underage. We operate
a challenge 21 policy on buying alcohol
and reserve the right to request nationally
approved identification if in doubt.
BB Guns, Chinese Lanterns and any projectile
firing items are not permitted on park. The use
of chimeneas, wood burning stoves or open
fires is also not permitted.
Late arrivals
Please notify us of any arrivals after 6pm.
Unless you inform us of a late arrival the
holiday will be held until noon of the second
day, after which we will re-let the holiday.
Special Offers
Offer codes must be quoted at the time of
a booking in order to receive any discount,
we will not add special offers onto existing
bookings. In order to use an offer code
the booking must be made in advance. All
individual terms and conditions for offer codes
must be met in order to use one.
Security
To improve security of the campsite a
wristband system has been introduced.
Visitors to the park are expected to wear
wristbands throughout their stay and we would
appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
If visitors can not show the wristband upon
entry to any facility, then entry will be refused.
Replacement wristbands can be obtained from
reception for a small charge of 10p (providing
you have the old wristband). Lost wristbands
will incur a £5 replacement charge.
Personal Property
The company is not responsible for any loss or
damage to your property by theft or otherwise
or for personal injury. This does not however
affect your rights if loss or damage or personal
injury occurred through fault on our part.
Marketing Accuracy
Whilst every care is taken to ensure that the
details in the brochure and on our website
are correct at the time of being published, the
photographic images shown are for illustration
purposes only and the details may be subject
to alteration.
Smoking Policy
It is now illegal to smoke inside enclosed
public buildings and you and other members
of your party are requested to smoke only
in those areas which have been clearly
designated as such. Smoking is also forbidden
in all of our holiday accommodation.
Filming & Photography
The company does undertake its own
promotional filming and photography. We make
every effort to ensure that this does not intrude
into or affect any holiday activity, and that it
is clear to guests that filming/photography is
taking place.
Complaints
Any problems about anything during your
holiday with us should be raised with reception
immediately and if you wish to pursue it
following your departure please write to us
within 28 days. If a problem is not reported
to us whilst you are on holiday, any future
correspondence will be dismissed.
