Cu Area in Kostanay province
Area in Kostanay province Non-ferrous metals deposit in Kazakhstan Cu 01 02 Area in Kostanay province Non-ferrous metals deposit in Kazakhstan Investment structure The Company is seeking a partner for mining and further processing of the non-ferrous metals deposit in Kazakhstan (the “Project”) The Company can entertain different partnership options, including sale up to 50 % shares in the Project Investment opportunity The non-ferrous deposit in Kazakhstan with forecast resources by P2 category—1,200 Ktons The area is perspective for detection of copper-porphyritic mineralization Developed infrastructure: railway station is 90 km to the north-east of the deposit Proximity to China and Asian markets, the world’s largest non-ferrous metals consumers An experienced management team with a extensive background in mining sector of Kazakhstan The Company has stable funding from SWF “Samruk-Kazyna” to finance Project implementation and development Company Overview Tau-Ken Samruk is the national operator of mining assets in Kazakhstan with exclusive first-refusal rights to any new exploration and production licenses being issued for the country’s mineral assets It was founded by the Government of Kazakhstan in 2009 to ensure the effective use of the country’s natural resources and promote its minerals assets to local and foreign partners that have expertise in exploration, development, production, processing and selling of solid minerals The Company is wholly owned subsidiary of SWF Samruk-Kazyna, the management holding of state assets in Kazakhstan Cautionary note: This brochure contains certain forward-looking statements, meaning they are based on information currently available to Tau-Ken Samruk, providing no assurance in the actual results. Since forward-looking statements are based on assumptions and address future events and conditions, by their very nature they involve inherent risks and uncertainties. Actual results relating to, among other things, results of exploration, project development, reclamation and capital costs of Tau-Ken Samruk’s mineral properties could differ materially from those currently anticipated in such statements for many reasons such as: changes in general economic conditions and conditions in the financial markets; changes in demand and prices for minerals; litigation, legislative, environmental and other judicial, regulatory, political and competitive developments; technological and operational difficulties encountered in connection with Tau-Ken Samruk’s activities; and other matters. This list is not exhaustive of the factors that may affect any of Tau-Ken Samruk’s forward-looking statements. Area in Kostanay province Tau-Ken Samruk 03 Project overview (1/2) General overview Astana Location: Kamystinsky district of Kostanay province Landscape: relatively flat terrain Climate: sharply continental climate with cold winter and moderately hot, dry summer Subsoil use rights: The geological allotment has been obtained. Procedures of the Contract execution in the final stage Lysakovsk Almaty Zhitikara Railway road in 90 km Deposit description Area in Kostanay province Forecast resources by P2 category—1,200 Ktons (Cu, Mo, Ag, Zn, Pb, Au) The area is perspective for detection of copper-porphyritic mineralization Copper mineralization is represented by impregnation of copper pyrite and pyrites. Grade of copper— 0.3–1.13 % Grade of copper of 0.25–0.49 % were noted in well No. 2 in the interval of 18.0–31.2 m in weathering crust. Grade of Cu was 0.1% in well No. 3 in the intervals of 52.5–55.0 and 107.5–110.0 m Average thickness of ore bodies is 36.5 m; average weighted grade of copper is 0.42 %, grade of gold— 0.25 g/t Reserves Deposit C1+C2 Area in Kostanay province Forecast resources by P2 category— 1,200 Ktons (Cu, Mo, Ag, Zn, Pb, Au) Source: State balance Infrastructure The closest railway station Zhitikara is located in distance of 90 km to the north-east of the deposit Measured The regional center Kostanay is 220 km to the north A+B The transport routes are represented by the automobile road Aktobe-Karabutak-Denissovka-Rudny-Kostanay Area in Kostanay province Indicated C1 Note: А, B, C1 and C2 can also be reserves Inferred C2 Unclassified P1 P2+P3 Tau-Ken Samruk Project overview (2/2) 04 Geology Kunduzdinsky and Kungurtausky ore clusters are located within the area. A range of ore manifestations and occurrences are identified within the clusters. Kunduzdinsky ore cluster is situated in the western part of the area and consists of Kunduzdinskoye ore manifestation and ore occurrences. According to the results of the survey made in 1983, complex dispersion haloes of Cu, Mo, Ag, Zn, and Au were detected in the southern part of Kunduzdinskaya anomaly of induced polarization. Area in Kostanay province Kungurtausky ore cluster stereoscopically coincide with gravity and magnetics minimum outlined by flange of scarns with magnetic mineralization and anomalies of the Varvarinka and Dzhetygara patterns. The cluster is formed by granite-diorite Kungurtausky massif. In the northern part of the cluster there is gold-copper (with molybdenum) porphyritic ore manifestation. Grade of copper reach 0.8 %, lead—0.04 %, gold—0.005 g/t, molybdenum—0.01 %, zinc—0.2 %. Tau-Ken Samruk
