See you at the Civic Centre! Saturday 6th February WA Opera in the Park LIVE SIMULCAST For over two decades, the City of Perth has presented Opera in the Park, to connect people in regional centres through a live simulcast supported by Lotterywest and Healthway. Enjoy an evening with Puccini’s comic opera GIANNI SCHICCHI, which features one of the world’s most popular arias, ‘O mio babbino caro’. The comedy takes place over one day, when a family’s greedy inheritance plans are disrupted. Cunning trickery is everything in this story; only the young lovers remain blissfully ignorant of the scheming around them. West Australian Symphony Orchestra, sung in Italian with English subtitles 8.30pm, Camel Lane Theatre All Tickets $10 Available now at the Civic Centre, by clicking ‘Purchase Tickets Online’ on the homepage, or calling 9941 4200 Carnarvon Civic Centre Camel Lane PO Box 459 Carnarvon, WA 6701 9941 4200 Carnarvon Civic Centre Camel Lane PO Box 459 Carnarvon WA 6701 9941 4200 [email protected] Friday 19th February Forever Rod People stop Rob Caudill in airports for autographs. They stare at him in restaurants. And when he struts on stage, women scream themselves hoarse. Why? Because he’s dead-on Rod Stewart Impersonator. He’s got the high-definition jawline, the shock of spiky blonde hair, but most importantly, he has the nose. Vocally, his distinctive, naturally raspy voice sounds like the legendary Stewart, and his range easily nails every high note from Stewart’s younger days. Joining Rob on stage is Ashleigh Toole. Ashleigh is a unique and rare young performer, Marcia Hines remarked; “You’ve got one of the finest, strongest voices I have heard”.
