Leadership donors carry on a tradition of giving from the
heart. These Leadership donors are recognized on these
pages for setting the giving standard for Brazoria County. It
is through their generosity that the quality of lives across
this county is continually improving.
It is through their giving power that United Way of Brazoria
County can change lives, working to ensure that every
Brazoria County resident will be educated, financially sound
and healthy.
In 2015, 443 leadership donors invested an incredible
$614,524 in our community.
We would like to thank all of the members of the Heritage
Oaks Society: Tocqueville, Live Oak, Post Oak and Pin Oak
members.
United Way of Brazoria County recruits people and
organizations from all across the community who bring the
passion, expertise and necessary resources to get things
done. United Way focuses on Education, Income, Health
and Basic Needs, which are the building blocks for a good
quality of life.

Making a planned gift creates a legacy of community giving
and support over an extended period of time. Through
planned giving you can affect long-term, lasting changes
that will improve the quality of life for generations to come
while taking advantage of many benefits, which may:

• Fulfill your charitable goals
Endowing your gift by contributing to the United Way of
Brazoria County Endowment Fund or through a separate
foundation is the best way to ensure that the causes
important to you are perpetually funded at the annual level
you choose.
There are several ways to structure your gift:
• Outright gift of cash, stock or real estate
• Deferred Giving Strategy
a) Listing United Way as the beneficiary of an IRA
b) Naming United Way in your will
c) Creating a provision to perpetuate your annual gift
d) Purchasing a life insurance policy
e) Memorial giving in honor of a loved one
