Welcome to the 2015-2016 School Year!
Below is a message from Sun Prairie’s new Superintendent, Dr. Brad Saron.
Dear Sun Prairie Area School District Community Members,
I hope this 2015–2016 school calendar
finds the families and children of the
Sun Prairie Area School District having
a great summer! The day-to-day
summertime agendas of softball games,
yard work, and farmers’ markets keep us
busy during this wonderful time of year.
September is quickly approaching, and
soon we’ll all be marching to the beat of
student performances, fall sports, and school start times.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the warm welcome to the Sun
Prairie community! This is new and thrilling for the Saron family. Our four kids will
be starting at new schools soon, making friends, figuring out their bus schedules, and
trying to remember their lunch IDs, like many other children in Sun Prairie.
In the same way that other parents may feel a mixed sense of anticipation and
restlessness on behalf of their kids and the first days of school, my wife, Brooke, and
I are both excited and a little anxious. However, when we consider the remarkable
teachers we’ve met, the caring community members, the great kids, the thoughtful
parents, and the dedicated staff of the Sun Prairie Area School District, we truly become
thrilled to start the year!
This is an amazing place, and it’s amazing because of the people, kids, families,
and community members who call it home. We now call it home too, and we are
so proud to be here with you, as a community, helping every child, every day, reach
their potential!

All students attending Sun Prairie Area School District schools may participate in
educational programs and activities, including career and technical education,
