Palo Duro Canyon Area
Palo Duro Canyon State Park is 30,000
acres of outdoor adventure, including some
of the best hiking and mountain biking found
anywhere. Enjoy camping of all levels and
restored overnight cabins on the rim and the

Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument
highlights ancient flint used by Native Americans
for tools and weapons. Ranger-led hikes are

Lake Meredith National Recreation Area
is located next to Alibates Flint Quarries. Lake

Wonderland Amusement Park has
entertained the Texas Panhandle for more than
60 summers. It is home to more than 60 rides and

Wildcat Bluff Nature Center, with more than
600 acres of native environment, from grasslands

Rock Island Rail Trail is nearly 4 miles
of improved hike and bike trail between the
Harrington Regional Medical Center and the
famed Historic Route 66 area. It is named for the
Rock Island Line, which operated on this right of way.

Cadillac Ranch was one of the world’s first
roadside sculptures. It features 10 Cadillacs
buried nose down in a field. Personal creativity is
