Who says you have to “rough it” on a canoe trip?
Includes: Featherweight Carbon / Kevlar canoe Super Deluxe menu
plan and additional equipment and food upgrades. Charge per

From planning to packing, Algonquin Outfitters can help with every
aspect of your canoe trip. Partial Outfitting allows you to rent a canoe
and/or extra pieces of equipment. Complete Outfitting allows you to
show up with your personal gear and find all your food and equipment
ready to go.
Complete outfitting is ideal for people without the time, experience
and/or equipment to put together their own wilderness trip. Our
packages include all the camping and canoeing equipment you
need for an enjoyable trip, as well as a nourishing, delicious menu
designed for wilderness travel. For those that prefer to set their
own menu, we offer an “equipment only” package. If you have all
the gear but don’t have time to shop, take advantage of our popular
“food only” package.
Types of equipment and menu plans vary with each package. For full
details, see the package descriptions on our website. For most, you
need only bring your own clothing and personal items. We supply
canoeing equipment and prepare and pack all food and camping
supplies. Our custom menu sets Algonquin Outfitters’ outfitting apart
from the rest.
The most valuable part of our outfitting service is the training,
advice and help that our experienced guides and outfitters will
give when custom tailoring your trip, route and equipment to your
abilities and desires.
Prices shown to the right are for trips starting at our Oxtongue Lake
store. Rates vary depending on which outfitting base is used and the
length of the trip. All complete outfitting rates, except Solo and Sea
Kayak Outfitting, are based on a minimum of two in a party, with
a minimum two-day charge. Camping permits are extra. Outfitting
descriptions, canoe rental information and detailed outfitting rates

leaders should ask about our special discounted rates for non-profit

Guided Algonquin Day Trip
Ideal for active people wanting an enjoyable day out-of-doors.
Custom route for each group! All canoeing and safety equipment,
lunch, experienced guide provided and transportation from our store
to and from Algonquin Park provided. Starts at the Oxtongue Lake
store, reservations required. Cost: $74.98 per person, plus tax (four

Guided Costello Creek
Half-Day Trip
A great introduction to canoeing (or kayaking) and nature appreciation.
Scenic Costello Creek is easily accessed right from our Opeongo Store.
All canoeing and safety equipment plus experienced guide provided.

The lowest canoe rental rate in Algonquin Park!
Park visitors staying at any of the Highway 60 campgrounds can take
advantage of this special rate offered exclusively to campground
users. With only a short drive to the Opeongo Store, canoe rentals
are available starting at $14.98 per day. Use the canoe for a day trip
on scenic lake Opeongo or for a small extra charge, rent a car top
carrier and take the canoe back to the campground. $99.98 weekly

Excellent wildlife viewing (think moose!). Includes canoe rental,
safety equipment, water taxi service and lunch. Starts at the

trips. A $50 deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
We use 22’ aluminum boats for the safest, most reliable and
comfortable ride. Extra charges may apply for oversize loads.

Important rental information
• Rental charges are based on the number of calendar days equipment is away from our store, regardless of usage.
• A two day minimum charge applies to overnight rentals.
• Rentals taken after 2 PM or returned before noon qualify for half-
day rates, after the two-day minimum. There are no half-day rates available for complete outfitting packages.
• For no additional charge, equipment can be picked up the evening preceding the first day of your trip, in order to get an early start, by advance arrangement.
• A credit card imprint (Visa, MC, Amex) will be taken on arrival
and is required for any rental. If you do not have a credit card, be prepared to leave a minimum $500 cash deposit (debit cards accepted). A $1000 minimum cash deposit is required for whitewater rentals.
