INTERSTATE IMPACTS:

Right lane closure on I-95 SB between Exits 46 and 43 on Friday night, July 15, 2016, for roadway work
associated with the opening of the new ramp from Ella T. Grasso Boulevard to I-95 SB. See attached CTDOT

LOCAL ROAD IMPACTS:

Construction of parapets for new I-95 SB Stage 2 Bridge over Ella T. Grasso Boulevard.

Roadway work for new I-95 SB Exit 44 ramp to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard.
-
Roadway work on new I-95 SB approaches to Bridge No. 164 over Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Bridge No. 163
over the West River.
POTENTIAL VIBRATION/NOISE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:

Daytime activities that may create vibrations and/or noise are scheduled to occur throughout the period from
Monday, July 11, 2016 to Saturday, July 23, 2016.
”DON’T WRECK YOUR SUMMER” TIPS:

Warmer weather attracts many types of roadway users, including motorcyclist, bicyclists, and pedestrians, so
please be alert.

Avoid changing the radio station, opening your sunroof, eating that delicious ice cream, or anything that may
distract you from the road while driving.

Rear-end crashes are the most common on work zones, so keep a safe distance between cars.

Keep your vehicle hydrated by checking proper fuel levels; just like us they need their fluids.

Sunglasses are not just accessories; they help avoid the sun’s glare, which may cause accidents as it impairs
visibility.
-
Always wear your seatbelt, why pay a fine when you can save lives.
